There are astounding developments in both America and Israel that no one seems to connect. Government ruling against the will of the people. In both nations the sitting Government is taking actions opposed by either a majority or near majority of the people. Israeli government is seeking to eliminate its Supreme Court, the only branch of government that can limit the legislative branch. In America, a barrage of executive orders, bureaucratic policies, regulations and actions are weaponizing the executive branch of Government against the people who oppose its initiatives of wokeness, erosion of Constitutional rights, identity politics, climate change proposals, failing economic policies, rising crime and socialists edicts. Americans are not marching in the streets because the other branches of government, the Supreme Court and legislature are limiting many of these illegal executive actions.
In both countries the President and Prime Minister are accused of felonies which are in various stages of investigation/litigation. This is indicative of a weakening of the rule of law. A just legal system acts promptly and without favoritism. When those who make the laws allow or manipulate the legal process for their own benefit it is corruption, under which no free country can endure. Communist and dictatorships rule by power, not law, therefore, they perpetuate corruption and oppress the people. Democracy within a republic (representative form of Government) is the only model of government to offer any real liberty to the people, because the Government is subjected to the will of the people.
When a society becomes corrupted at the individual level it becomes open to tyrants in all forms that rise to power through corruption. All through history these principles have born out the truth that freedom and liberty thrive only where the people embrace justice, mercy, truth, and individual responsibility. The Communists nations stand because their people relegate their responsibility to the government which offers to provide for them, whether true or not. German’s permitted Hitler’s rise to power because he promised economic recovery to its failing economy. By closing their eyes and ears to injustice the world experienced devastation of war. This is evidence of the enemy who seeks to kill, steal and destroy mankind. (John 10:10)
We are all individually responsible to each other, government and God. A nation who turns its back on this responsibility is moving toward failure and destruction. By allowing selfish leadership, tolerating corruption and ignoring the cries of the weak and innocent in society they fall into the enemy’s snare. The result is misery and want which can only be relieved by returning to God in repentance and submission. Both America and Israel are in need of a revival, an awakening with reverent god-fearing consciousness. Then perhaps God will deliver us from the leadership we deserve, to that which we need. Yeshua said, “…I have come that they may have life, and have it to the full.” (John 10:10) Yeshua will return and finish His mission to destroy the works of the devil. (1 John 3:8)
