pagans in america

A Pagan is one who has little or no religion and who delights in sensual pleasures and material goods : an irreligious or hedonistic person. This may be a growing group, but it may be disguised by some who prefer to consider themselves humanists, agnostic or atheist. A lot of these people could have some knowledge of the Christian religion or even gone to a church or synagogue, but concluded religion was unnecessary. I agree that religion, if defined as people attempting to follow a set of rules in order to become good, is of little value. Even so, a society of pagans is a society destined for collapse, overthrow, or target of foreign conquest.

What distinguishes pagan behavior and its society? Much of what is celebrated in Hollywood movies reveals and exalts pagan behavior, even when it is not riotous and violent. Pagan humanists are self-righteous, but they are anything but loving to humans. Many humanist promote killing babies through abortion; they would disfigure and confuse children’s understanding of biological gender, and they spew hatred for family/traditional values, Judeo-Christian principles, tolerance, and liberty. It might be argued whether these political issues are widespread among pagan/humanists, but there is a more sinister deeper issue.

If Yeshua (Jesus’ Hebrew name) came to America today, I believe He would do much of what He did in the first century; preach good news of the one true God; heal and feed multitudes, and drive out demons. In fact, He charged His disciples, “As you go, proclaim this message: ‘The kingdom of heaven has come near.’ Heal the sick, raise the dead, cleanse those who have leprosy, drive out demons. Freely you have received; freely give.” (Matthew 10:7-8) A key part of His ministry was driving out demons. (Matt. 4:24; 8:16; 12:22) Does modern man even believe in demonic oppression/possession – probably not, since he denies anything spiritual. However, behind America’s growing pagan humanist is an army of demonic forces. “Do I mean then that food sacrificed to an idol is anything, or that an idol is anything? No, but the sacrifices of pagans are offered to demons, not to God, and I do not want you to be participants with demons. (1 Cor. 10:19-20) The drug culture specifically opens people up to demonic control through addiction and weakened mental faculties. Masses are controlled by demons and filled with hate, all manner of evil, insanity and self-destruction.

Much of the institutionalized church is blind to these spiritual forces of evil and looks to medical science for a cure. An immature, socialized, worldly infiltrated church is no match for the powers of darkness and disregards scriptures pertaining thereto. “You cannot drink the cup of the Lord and the cup of demons too; you cannot have a part in both the Lord’s table and the table of demons.” (1 Cor. 10:21) Nevertheless, Yeshua defeated the enemy and his demons at the cross. (Col. 2:15) At the name of Yeshua every knee will bow. (Phil. 2:10) He came to destroy the works of Satan (1 John 3:8). It is not too late for Believers in America to repent, pray and wake up to the Spiritual warfare that is taking over America. Part of our calling is to snatch up those who are perishing. (Jude 1:23) Lord Yeshua, deliver us from any association with the demonic and let us walk in humility, forgiving others and in your name driving out demons as your Spirit leads.

  1. Wow, modern Christians could still learn an awful lot. This is incredibly ignorant, poorly researched and biased in a way that smacks of the middle ages something fierce. For your own benefit and those of readers who take what you say at face value, I strongly recommend doing a lot more research and not being as dated and bigoted as referring to anything about paganism as “evil forces”. You make many very false and unfair blanket statements about modern pagans and that is far more “evil” and damaging than anything you claim about pagans here. You are living in a prejudiced, ancient echo chamber.

  2. Thanks for your confirmation. As to the sources of my information, the dictionary defines paganism. My perspective is not from the middle ages, but from the Bible which is far older. Perhaps you are not aware that pagan idolatry, (the worship of physical objects as deities), was sourced in demonic deception, as per the scripture reference in my post, irrespective of the age. I recommend that you do more research on Christianity and begin by reading the Bible, which has a lot of reliable information on loving spirituality and the one true God. My comments were not directed toward specific individuals ensnared by demonic influence, but pagan beliefs. In fact, much of the posts was to alert Christian’s to the reality of demonic activity in our days. Thanks for reading our posts.
