Helping God Get It Done

If this were possible, has it actually been attempted?  In the Bible there are several examples: ▪ Sarah gave her servant to Abraham has a means of fulfilling God’s promise that he would have descendants. (Gen 16: 1-4). ▪ Moses killed an abusive Egyptian when he joined his Hebrew people’s struggle for freedom considering his call as a deliverer. exodus 2: 11-12. ▪ Korah and 250 other leaders in the counsel concluded that Moses had misinterpreted God’s intent for Israel saying, “You have gone too far!  The whole community is holy, every one of them, and the Lord is with…

Obedience vs. Rebellion

“Now go and attack Amalek, and utterly destroy all that they have, and do not spare them.  But kill both man and woman, infant and nursing child, ox and sheep, camel and donkey.  But Saul and the people spared Agag and the best of the sheep, the oxen, the fatlings, the lambs, and all that was good, and were unwilling to utterly destroy them.  But everything despised and worthless, that they utterly destroyed.  So Samuel said: ‘Has the LORD as great delight in burnt offerings and sacrifices, as in obeying the voice of the LORD?  Behold, to obey is better…

Hannah’s Anguish

So, Spiritual Authority is not based on…

Trust and Obey

Saul replied, “When I saw that the men were scattering, and that you did not come at the…
