Purpose and Power in Yeshua

Purpose is powerful, more so than most ever consider, for in purpose we find meaning and a substance greater than ourselves. You may think about selfish purposes, but where purpose originates from us it never extends beyond ourself. No, a purpose must by definition transcend desire or motive because it is not limited to rationale or analysis. As Believers we grow to understand our purpose in Yeshua and through faith and gain a foundation for standing when all around are in retreat. “This is what the Lord says: “Cursed is the one who trusts in man, who draws strength from mere flesh and whose heart turns away from the Lord. That person will be like a bush in the wastelands; they will not see prosperity when it comes. They will dwell in the parched places of the desert, in a salt land where no one lives. “But blessed is the one who trusts in the Lord, whose confidence is in him. They will be like a tree planted by the water that sends out its roots by the stream. It does not fear when heat comes; its leaves are always green. It has no worries in a year of drought and never fails to bear fruit.” (Jeremiah 17:5-8)

These truths are sound and sure all through scripture the blessings of the Lord sustain the faithful and remain a mystery to the lost and worldly minded; such blessings are not founded in human reason nor is there a comparable among secular society. It may be that Yeshua walked upon the water because His purpose was founded in God. He was separated from the disciples in order to get before the Father in prayer, as priority required, then He reunited with the disciples at just the right time and manner as to glorify God and crush the enemy’s attempt to destroy them in the storm. Water can hold incredible weight as seen in a cofferdam wherein a few feet of water can hold the weight of a building. Moreover, the force of moving water can exceed its weight exponentially and motion can be measured by either the movement of water or the object striking it. Of course frozen water has an adhesive force greater than a hammer blow. I’m not suggesting these properties of water as an explanation of how Yeshua walked on water. God made water, it’s properties and He supersedes all creation even on an atomic level – He is supernaturally miraculous. What I’m saying is that when we align ourselves with His will and purposes anything is possible, ranging from our deliverance from certain death to our surrender to it according to God’s will.
