The King of Glory

“Shouts of joy and victory resound in the tents of the righteous: “The Lord’s right hand has done mighty things!” (Psalms 118:15)

We are in the midst of a spiritual battle in America. The LBGTQ group in parade chanted their motto, “…we are coming for your children.” No more needs to be said about the forces of evil; we know the enemy came to steal, kill and destroy. Believers are his target, not worldly, proud and self-sufficient humanists. In the natural, this can be very scary, unprecedented, unexplainable, with seemingly unreasonable insanity. There is no equivalent in American history. There is the historical illustration of Sodom and Gomorrah, a city of wickedness destroyed by fire. However, Believers are not limited to a natural view point, nor subject to fear and bewilderment. Believers must open their spiritual ears and eyes through the Holy Spirit to hear and see the champion of our salvation – Yeshua, Messiah.

God’s presence goes before and behind His people, like a pillar of cloud by day and fire by night. His promises are unfailing; He will never leave nor forsake us. (Deut. 31:6,8; John 10:28) He is our shelter from the storm. (Isa. 25:4) Though ten thousand die at your side it will not harm you. (Ps. 91:7) His promises are too numerous to recite here, but our focus is to be fixed on our Redeemer, Yeshua, not the enemy, nor his threats, taunts, or even his attacks. The victory belongs to the Lord. (1 Cor. 15:57; Prov. 21:31) The congregation of Believers will pour out unending praises to our Savior and Lord for his mercies and compassions are new every morning.

Our God has brought the prodigals home; He has delivered us for peril and the sword; He has broken the chains which bound us in captivity; He has been near to the broken-hearted and lifted up their heads; He has lead us beside still waters and green pastures of provision; we proclaim, “I was young and now I am old, yet I have never seen the righteous forsaken or their children begging bread.”

(Psalms 37:25); He is our healer and bore our infirmities and diseases; He gave each one a crown of salvation, bought by the blood of the Lamb of God. Nothing in heaven or earth or any created thing is able to separate us from the love of God in Messiah, Yeshua. (Rom. 8:38-39) He gave us beauty for ashes and cast our sins into the sea of forgetfulness. All time is too short to declare God’s Glory.

In spiritual warfare Congregation of Believers are to release His praises in shouts of victory. The battle is the Lord’s. Our offerings of praise, glory and worship to the only true God must be released from hearts of gratitude and love with thanksgiving and adoration enabled by the Spirit. This will silence the enemy and put him to flight, “They overcame him by the blood of the Lamb and by the word of their testimony; they did not love their lives so much as to shrink from death. Therefore rejoice, you heavens and you who dwell in them! (Rev. 12:11)
