Many say so, a convincing argument can be made for it. Clearly, we are on a path to self destruction. It was said, “America will never fall to an attack from a foreign power, but from within.” The ancient Roman Empire fell from within, is this happened to America? A you look at Media, is the best illustration of what is happening today.
For decades the print media was powerful, but digital migration gave us an oligarchy of high-tech platforms, which centralized, recharacterized, and redefined Media when it agreed to support and collaborate with the Democrat political party. TV changed to cable, then online and died, all the old shows are being rerun with virtually nothing new. AM radio is under attack as the Dems want it removed from cars. The major change in media is that it stopped being or pretending to be independent when control was grouped in the Oligarchs. It was then politically Democrat and socially woke, though for four decades it had been liberal. Today, Media is an evil force, lying, supporting corruption, censoring citizens, hiding and blocking truth, discriminating against Conservatives/Christians and others, supporting anti-America groups, promoting racial hatred, and destroying every way possible the traditional family. Media is nothing of what it once was. This is true of the democrat party and many other spheres of influence.
There is an alternative future together with good news; America can unite and restore that which has been stolen. The Media Oligarchy can be busted up and cleansed of its wickedness. The rule of law can be restored bringing back law and order. One might ask how, “By throwing the Oligarchs and corrupt politicians in prison for their crimes?” No, there is no political solution. The solution is repentance, a religious term meaning, sincere remorse and turning back to God. It seems too simply, you can’t put the genie back in the bottle that easily. However, God said, “if my people, who are called by my name, will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and I will forgive their sin and will heal their land.” (2 Chronicles 7:14) He also said, “I am the Lord, the God of all mankind. Is anything too hard for me?”(Jeremiah 32:27) Though reported numbers of “church goers” are decreasing, true born again Believers are still following Yeshua and God’s promises are everlasting. Reports of large numbers of new Believers responding spontaneously to the Gospel are coming from all across the country. When the people of God return to Him in faith with prayer, He will heal our land.
