God’s Way

“Remember this: Whoever sows sparingly will also reap sparingly, and whoever sows generously will also reap generously.” (2 Corinthians 9:6)

“For in the same way you judge others, you will be judged, and with the measure you use, it will be measured to you.” (Matthew 7:2) “Do to others as you would have them do to you…. “Do not judge, and you will not be judged. Do not condemn, and you will not be condemned. Forgive, and you will be forgiven. Give, and it will be given to you. A good measure, pressed down, shaken together and running over, will be poured into your lap. For with the measure you use, it will be measured to you.” (Luke 6:31, 37-38)

These scriptures illustrate the principles upon which God’s world works. Without scriptural insight we would not figure it out on our own; our fallen human nature is focused on self, rather than others. Much truth is hidden because of the fall of man and a corrupted declining world infected with satanic forces in spiritual places. God loves justice, such that we reap what we sow. The imperative is to treat others as we would like to be treated. This sums up God’s law. Forgiveness through belief in Yeshua with atonement upon the cross shows how God forgives us our many egregious sins and requires that we forgive the sins of others toward us.

In all this, we have courage, guidance and empowering from the Holy Spirit. God saves His people. There is a fountain of life flowing freely from the throne of God. (John 4:13-14; Matt. 26:28) Ask God for His cleaning work, He can find and remove the stains and filth of the world that creeps into our hidden places. (Ps 51:7) God knows how to take out the garbage of our life. He sanctifies us throughout our life making us into the image of Yeshua, this is a process only He can do. (Eph. 2:1-10)

These scriptures can become merely law which we strive to keep on our own, but neither is that God’s intent. He knows we are weak and doesn’t despise it, in fact, Yeshua said to Paul, “My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.” (2 Corinthians 12:9) God gives grace and help to the humble who look to Him for help and strength. It is the world which mistakenly says, “God helps those who help themselves.” God loves mankind and says to us, “Whoever claims to love God yet hates a brother or sister is a liar. For whoever does not love their brother and sister, whom they have seen, cannot love God, whom they have not seen.” (1 John 4:20)
