Business commerce is a critical sphere in any free nation. America has a history of strong business leadership, occasionally too strong as seen in Standard oil and the monopoly of the oil and steel industry. Competition is essential for advancement and to protect consumers. Innovation is a worthy goal, but artificial advantages are not. Multinational Corporations have impacted the commerce sector significantly raising political factors which were previously static.
An example of the politicization of industry is seen in the rapid adoption “wokeness”. How and why would any large businesses promote woke ideas without a sound financial basis? Catering to a minute population segment contrary to the vast majority of its customers is very risky without supporting financial analysis and specific market knowledge. What drives decision makers to oppose reason and factually based experience?
Every business has a culture often focused on it fundamental products and services. In an environment of rapid technological implementation and rising political awareness leadership began to look within its cloistered “club” for successors. Succession plans traditionally came from within, with a mix of select professional outsiders, but pressures from a combined government/media hegemony gave way to what might be referred to as the “club”, any of those in the executive ranks, irrespective of experience or demonstrated expertise. It included people-pleasers with speaking and social skills, even analytic ability, but lacking depth of character, integrity, insight, vision, ingenuity and wisdom. These leaders possessed neither the character nor will to resist external pressure from a combined Government/Media hegemony with its bribes and threats. They quickly accepted wokeness looking to early adopters and believing the lies this was the new normal.
Evil is not rational, but twisted concealed by smoke, mirrors, lust, greed, pride and shadow. When the light of truth illumines all, it is exposed as wicked. Woke thinking is opposed to scientific fact, born of abuse, shame and lies, a myth like utopia and communism’s false promises. Righteousness is a rock understood across barriers of language, culture, and tradition. It may not be uniformly or consistently practiced, but it is where health, happiness, peace, freedom and prosperity thrives. Righteousness is a revelation from God, its most succinct expression was received by Moses on the Ten Commandments. Judeo-Christian thought is founded upon these and has brought light and prosperity to the world. Yeshua (Jesus Hebrew name) Israel’s Messiah, clarified and fulfilled the law of righteousness and offers atonement through His sacrifice on the cross for everyone who believes and relies upon His free gift of substitutionary righteousness.
