
The world was ruled by tyrants, dictators, kings and tribal leaders for ages. When the printing press was invented to print the Bible it was spread around the world. Increased literacy was like a bright sunrise shinning on all mankind. Gradually, people began to understand the character and purposes of a loving Creator God. This was revealed in written documents beginning with the “Magna Carta,” written by men for the common man to see beyond the oppression of tyrants, kings and dictators. It was not against government, but evil in government.
Documents were built one upon another other proclaiming a Biblical worldview – justice, liberty, freedom, responsibility and the pursuit of happiness. At just the right time a new fledgling nation was set to emerge from the tyranny of the British Empire, which ruled a majority of the world. The Founding Fathers were farmers, professionals, clergy and a mix of men who were steeped in Judeo-Christian thought and truth which had distilled from historical documents forming a foundation for the Declaration of Independence. It declared that people could “…assume among the powers of the earth, the separate and equal station to which the Laws of Nature and of Nature’s God entitle them…”. It stated a new dramatic ideal from scripture. “We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable Rights, that among these are Life, Liberty and the pursuit of Happiness.” In order to safeguard the truths it affirmed, “Governments are instituted among Men, deriving their just powers from the consent of the governed.” Government serves the People, it does not and can not restrict their liberty or rights. If it does it can be abolished or reformed by the People.
The US Constitution and Bill of rights detailed this idea and formed a government with three separate parts, Legislative, Executive and Judicial. This division of power would help restrain tyranny. Moreover, the Federal Government’s authority was limited and State’s had authority over everything not specifically allocated to a central Government. America was and is a Republic, controlled by the people in separate states.
Human history has experienced a great light from God’s truth revealed in America, a nation of free people under God. However, its Government has exceeded its defined limits. It has violated the Constitution and Bill of Rights. Most importantly, it has adopted secular humanism and rejected Creator God. A correction by the people is necessary to return it to Constitutional limits. Executive orders cannot act as law. Congress cannot assign its authority to executive agency rules. The Supreme Court cannot exceed its authority and rule on matters reserved to State jurisdiction. The bloated unconstitutional bureaucracy must be reduced by eliminating the Dept. of Education, severely reducing others, including HHS, and all not supported in the Constitution.
