There is within mankind a call to glory, heaven, utopia, nirvana, paradise, infinite perfection. I mention these names given by religions together with the true heaven because the call is in all of us. It is evidence of the Spiritual realm which transcends our temporal life on earth, except utopia, which secular humanists imagine they can produce on earth apart from any life hereafter. I mention this as even Hell is part of the afterlife, sadly for all who reject God’s mercy and truth in this life. This intuitive sense of life after death is acknowledged in scripture, “He has made everything beautiful in its time. He has also set eternity in the human heart; yet no one can fathom what God has done from beginning to end.” (Ecclesiastes 3:11)
The enemy could not let such an obvious and critical feature of mankind go without obstructing the truth with his lies, subterfuge, and mockery. Of course, mankind without God is no match against foolishness, let alone diabolic snares. Consider those who now suggest they “identify” as something other than their actual gender though every cell in their body declares and evidences with chemical and biological precision. Delusion is popular, supported, promoted, protected, and honored in a society that deny’s, rejects, and dishonors the only wise God. “And without faith it is impossible to please God, because anyone who comes to him must believe that he exists and that he rewards those who earnestly seek him.” (Hebrews 11:6)
God is a rewarder, all through scripture we see the goodness, justness, and mercy of God. He did not hide His intention to create mankind a creature in His own image with whom He would have relationship. He calls us His Children. “And the Lord God said, “The man has now become like one of us, knowing good and evil. He must not be allowed to reach out his hand and take also from the tree of life and eat, and live forever.” (Genesis 3:22) God knew that our temporal existence was insufficient for eternity and His plan included redemption through Messiah, Yeshua, impartation of Holy Spirit and reunion with Himself in a new Heaven and Earth. (Rev. 21:1-3) There is no greater reward than being in the presence of Almighty God. This is why the crowns and rewards given to the heavenly hosts afterwards are cast down at the feet of Father God. (Rev. 4:2-11) The creation of the world is strong evidence of Creator God, but the word and light of the gospel of Yeshua Messiah is greater. “The god of this age has blinded the minds of unbelievers, so that they cannot see the light of the gospel that displays the glory of Christ, who is the image of God. For what we preach is not ourselves, but Jesus Christ as Lord, and ourselves as your servants for Jesus’ sake. For God, who said, “Let light shine out of darkness,” made his light shine in our hearts to give us the light of the knowledge of God’s glory displayed in the face of Christ. But we have this treasure in jars of clay to show that this all-surpassing power is from God and not from us.” (2 Corinthians 4:4-7)
