The NY Governors office was recently raided by FBI who found a Chinese spy embedded in the Governors office as a top aid/advisor of the Governor. The Governor expressed shock and outrage at discovering her close aid was a Chinese agent influencing the NY Governors office. That was the end of the story as Federal agents led the accused Chinese agent away in handcuffs.
What is missing in this scenario? The suspected Chinese agent was a top advisor to the Governor. Apparently the agent was recommending pro-communists ideas to influence the NY Governor. Apparently, this came as a shock to the NY Governor when her top aide was arrested. Apparently the Governor could not distinguish Chinese communist ideas from those of her other democrat aids and advisors. Otherwise, the Governor would have fired or reported this advisor as a communist spy and she would not have been shocked by the aides arrest.
Why has no one questioned the Governor regarding the advice she was given and apparently accepted without objection. Aides and advisors are hired to provide advice and recommendations. How could the NY Governor fail to recognize Chinese influence from her own aid? Was the Governor giving money and favors to communist Chinese recipients? Is the NY Governor a queen who hands out money or favor upon whoever her aides recommend. Where is due process, legislative authorization, and legal compliance? Where is an independent press to ask these questions and more? How can this Governor be innocent?
When Communist sympathizers were thought to have infiltrated government, universities, and the film industry in the 1950’s during the Cold war, Congress started investigations and Senator Joe McCarthy went on a personal witch hunt. Today, a Cold war is being promoted with China by democrat media and politicians. Accusations of China generating the Covid virus; supporting the rouge Russian state; threatening Taiwan; becoming involved in Middle East diplomacy, and fostering unfair foreign trade policies are offered as justification that China is our greatest enemy. It could be true, but our own CDC under Dr. Fouchi sanctioned and paid for China’s Covid development. Our President is accused of taking money from China laundered through his family members. Without explanation our President allowed a Chinese spy ballon to sail unhindered all the way across American air space. Our Democrat leaders have financed debt exceeding $20 trillion of which China holds a significant portion.
The “deep state” is corrupt, but no more so than the Democrat Politicians and media who collude with it to consolidate their power. Joe McCarthy never found evidence to prove his theories were true. Today, the NY Governor acts shocked when her top advisor is discovered to be a Chinese spy and no one even asks how the Governor herself could deny knowing it all along.
