History’s Lesson

There was a time in history that is similar to today. It is told in the book of Esther. It was a difficult time for God’s people dispersed throughout the world. The enemy of the Jews was hell-bent on their destruction. The multinational ruler was susceptible to unverified suggestions made by antisemitic agents in high positions of power. An edict was issued to all the enemies of the Jews to initiate an attack against all jews wherever they may be in order to annihilate them. Today, this is the Iranian led block of islamic nations and their proxy organizations such as Hamas, Hezbollah, Houthi, Palestinian and others across the nations to protest, fight, and attack the Jews, however they can. This is a call for racist war to wipe out the Jews.

The God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob is unseen, but actively working to bring deliverance to His people. The Book of Esther does not contain the word “God”, but His unseen and unnamed hand is present in ordinary people who serve Him. Two massive rounds of Iranian missile attacks have been repelled with very little harm. Counter attacks by the Jews have been extremely effective to eliminate leaders of their enemy’s. Nothing except the prior counter defensive victories of the Israelis in 1949 and 1967 demonstrate such unexplainable military success.  The unseen hand protecting Israel is great.

The enemies of the Jews are still sworn to genocide. Their commitment to hate creates an irrational blindness which resists seeing the high costs they continue to pay for Israels destruction. When Haman, enemy of the Jews, was honored in the book of Esther by the ruler, he could not appreciate it or be satisfied as long as the Jews existed. Today, the Abraham accords have brought tremendous benefits to a few Arab nations that have taken advantage and normalized relations with Israel. Nevertheless, to those like Haman (Hamas) war is preferred to prosperity and honor.

The Bible is an accurate record of ancient history and the future. It has its origins in God and who supernaturally preserved it through the ages. It recounts God’s precepts for prosperity and blessing as well as the penalty for disregarding them. It reveals the nature, character and love of Father God to the chosen people of Israel and nations of the world. The New covenant contains God’s solution for mankind’s failure, waywardness and rebellion. Yeshua Messiah came with all the supernatural nature of Almighty God, contained in human flesh, providing reconciliation between God and man. (Heb. 10:12-14,18; Rom 8:3) The proof of fulfilled prophecy is clear, but will be finalized upon the return of Yeshua to deliver Israel once more and for all. (Heb. 9:28; Rev. 1:5-8)
