Family of God

“In him and through faith in him we may approach God with freedom and confidence. I ask you, therefore, not to be discouraged because of my sufferings for you, which are your glory. For this reason I kneel before the Father, from whom every family in heaven and on earth derives its name.” (Ephesians 3:12-15)  

Father God is our origin and head of the human family created through Yeshua His Son and our King. (John 1:3) Beginning with Adam and Eve the first family was named. Every subsequent family derives its name according to God’s will and plan. “From one man he made all the nations, that they should inhabit the whole earth; and he marked out their appointed times in history and the boundaries of their lands.” (Acts 17:26) After the flood three families of Ham, Shem and Japheth populated the earth. God designated nations to support the families of mankind and carryout His purposes and reveal His glory. He determined their times and locations. God guided the nations, revealing His glory, punishing them for their wicked idolatry, ruling over them, showing them His righteousness, judging and thwarting their plans and evil purposes. The glory which Father God gave to the nations will be displayed in Heaven. (Rev 21:24, 26) 

“When the Most High gave the nations their inheritance, when he divided all mankind, he set up boundaries for the peoples according to the number of the sons of Israel. For the Lord’s portion is his people, Jacob his allotted inheritance.”(Deuteronomy 32:8-9) Everything is centered in the will of God. He selected Israel to be His chosen nation to show His character, nature and person to mankind. His son, Yeshua, Messiah is an Israelite of the tribe of Judah, a descendant of the family of David. Yeshua opened the way for the Kingdom of God to be established on earth. God’s Kingdom is everlasting, therefore, it is not merely temporal, but spiritually eternal. The family of God is the Congregation of Believers within which His Holy Spirit dwells, comprising the Temple of God on earth. At the judgement everyone whose name is written in the Lambs Book of Life will be welcomed into Heaven and God’s glorious majestic presence, joining the families, nations, and their Lord and Savior, Yeshua. At that point everything on earth and throughout history will be brought into subjection to Yeshua, who will then surrender it all to Father God, one family. (1 Cor. 15:25-28)
