“So will it be with the resurrection of the dead. The body that is sown is perishable, it is raised imperishable; it is sown in dishonor, it is raised in glory; it is sown in weakness, it is raised in power; it is sown a natural body, it is raised a spiritual body. If there is a natural body, there is also a spiritual body. So it is written: “The first man Adam became a living being”; the last Adam, a life-giving spirit.” (1 Corinthians 15:42-45)
These are mysterious truths because they are undetectable by our physical senses. Moreover, they will be fully revealed after the physical realities decline. (1 Cor. 15:52-54) In accordance with the laws of heaven and earth, Physical elements proceed Spiritual elements. (1 Cor. 15:46) This is illustrated by our physical birth which proceeds our spiritual birth. Once born again our spiritual sight, hearing and perception, beyond space and time begin to develop. I saw an actual ultra sound video of an unborn baby smiling upon hear his father’s voice. Awareness by the unborn is well documented; perhaps illustrating development of our spiritual awareness.
The bible is supernatural because it is God’s word in written language; it functions in natural and spiritual realms, and its power is beyond physical or scientific limits. (Luke 21:33) For example, Scripture records events in antiquity as well as the future, even to the end of the physical world in which we live. The prophetic revelatory nature of scripture is so remarkable as to be a major characteristic and evidence of God Himself. (Isa. 7:10-14) Within mankind is another evidence of God, the conscience each of us are born with, recognizing good from evil. Humanists feverishly work to separate our conscience from God, but in so doing they warp and mix good with evil. Apart from God and His Word values are anything man chooses, denies or deludes himself with.
The Spiritual realm in which Believers inhabit by the indwelling power of the Holy Spirit is forcefully advancing. (Matt. 11:12) The concepts of mercy, justice, liberty, truth, love, forgiveness, salvation, righteousness, humility, hope, faith and grace have their origin and most accurate definitions in Messiah Yeshua. These concepts are Spiritual in nature and will be completely revealed in the future on earth during a thousand year reign of Yeshua, Messiah. (Rev. 20:4; Isa. 65:19-25) However, today the Spirit of God is alive and active in the Congregation of Believers around the world. (Heb. 4:12)
