“When evening comes, you say, ‘It will be fair weather, for the sky is red,’ and in the morning, ‘Today it will be stormy, for the sky is red and overcast.’ You know how to interpret the appearance of the sky, but you cannot interpret the signs of the times.” (Matthew 16:2-3)
We live in a storm, or at least heavy wind and rain that’s precedes one. It’s what would have been a storm of words that has now devolved into shouts, slurs, disrespectful acts, vulgar personal attacks, and protests with signs in Congress. Stupidity, ignorance and rebellion against the foundations of wisdom, truth, experience and faith has caused decay in our society’s values, traditions and leadership. Read almost any book from the eighteenth century and you will marvel or struggle to understand the level of intellectuality and scholarship exhibited in the vocabulary.
We consider the intellectual level of our founders to be equivalent to their limited technology, but this is shear stupidity and/or arrogance. An agrarian society does not automatically produce ignorance in society; lack of education and prevalence of licentiousness, wickedness and lawlessness do as it yields scoundrels, criminals, cheats and liars. Consider the large inners cities of America which are filled with crime, ignorance, corruption and want even though billions of dollars are given for schools, housing, welfare and social programs. A common excuse of racism is offered, but Democrat minorities have almost universally been leading these cities for decades. Racism is the scapegoat of corrupt leadership and over fifty years has proven to be a lie and tactic of identity politics. Wickedness can be scheming, subtle and conniving though it is has no wisdom, honor or power to raise or advance people or society.
Predicting the weather has employed many technological advances in meteorology during the last sixty years, but reasonable certainty still is within only a few hours. With respect to society it is the same, we have leaders who are selfish, corrupt, promoters of wickedness who destroy our communities and society, but we wonder why things are in decline. Consider Gaza who elected Hamas as their leaders. Their nation is now just rubble because Hamas attacked and inflicted atrocity upon innocent Israel. Similarly, Obama and Biden set America on a trajectory of decline and destruction.
Secular Humanists have been striving for decades to dumb-down school curriculum and consequently youth. Their success is revealed today as school children struggle to read, write and do simple math. Only an ignorant deluded society would reject common sense of two genders, allow mentally deranged males into girls bathrooms and sports and promote irreversible surgical and chemical mutilation of small children. Just open the door put out your hand, if it’s wet it’s raining, if it’s icy it’s snowing, if you feel moving air, it’s windy. This same techniques work with society and that is why Trump was elected and his message embraced.
