All Believers are Israelis

Tucker Carlson interviewed Ted Cruz, who referenced God’s promise to Abraham. “I will bless those who bless you, and whoever curses you I will curse…” (Genesis 12:3) Carlson objected and started arguing with Senator Cruz, stating that He was a Christian, but never heard of this scripture or how it could relate to anything today. The Senator was not allowed to explain or finish answering Carlson’s initial question. I was incensed and offended by Carlson’s behavior, but in the night a response to all his objections came to me as a Believer, the reply, “I am Israeli,” 

The scriptures provide the lineage of the Israelites beginning with Abraham and God’s promises to him. (Gen. 22:17) Later, David was chosen by God to be King and the line of Israel’s coming Messiah began. (1 Sam 16:1-13) Yeshua was miraculously born of the virgin Mary of the line of David, married to Joseph of the line of David. (Matt. 1:1ff, Luke 3:23ff ) Holy Spirit God was Yeshua’s biological Father, as prophesied. (Isa. 7:14; Luke 1:35; 1 Chron. 17:13) The Messiah was a high priest forever, not of the lineage of Aaron, but Melchizedek who was of an eternal Priesthood. (Heb. 5:1-6) 

Yeshua explained to Nicodemus that to enter the Kingdom of Heaven everyone must be born again through a Spiritual rebirth. (John 3:3-8) Yeshua, Messiah imparted indwelling Holy Spirit to every Believer. (Gal. 3:14; Joel 2:28; 2 Cor. 1:22) Paul explains the significance of Israel’s receipt of God’s promises which comes by faith, rather than by works of the law. (Rom. 3:28) Prophets recorded that God would bring Believers from the nations into His Kingdom with and through Israel. These receive the gift of forgiveness, salvation and Holy Spirit through faith in Yeshua Messiah. (John 3:16; Acts 10:44-47) Israel’s unbelief separated them from God’s blessing, but God’s promises remain, such that all Israel will be saved. (Rom. 12:25-26) Gentile Believers are grafted into God’s living plant of Israel, and are adopted in His family to receive the inheritance together with Israel. (Rom. 8:15-16, 11:13-24) The adopted children do not replace the natural born children but share fully together with them. (Rom 11:17-18, Eph. 2:19) The adopted Children become united with Yeshua, Messiah, included in citizenship in Israel, and natives to the covenants of the promise with hope and God in the world. “His purpose was to create in himself one new humanity out of the two, thus making peace, and in one body to reconcile both of them to God through the cross, by which he put to death their hostility.” (Ephesians 2:12-16) Each Believer is a member of God’s family together with Israel to whom the promises and the one Messiah, Yeshua were given for all who believe.
