“In the beginning you laid the foundations of the earth, and the heavens are the work of your hands. They will perish, but you remain; they will all wear out like a garment. Like clothing you will change them and they will be discarded.” (Psalms 102:25-26)
The worldly wise make plans without knowledge which will come to nothing. Those who listen to God’s call to them from within their inner being seek life and the One sent into the world to save all who believe. He is the Messiah, Savior of the Children of God, Yeshua. He saves all who come to Him, who have been called and chosen for eternal life. It is by grace they are saved, not by any virtue of their own, simply because they believe the word they heard. In believing they act on the message which says seek God and live, draw near to Him and He will draw near to you; accept the love that has been poured out into your heart by the Holy Spirit.
God’s purpose for earth was to raise up Children for Himself. That purpose started with Adam and Eve and is still in process, but it will be finished one day and all things will be made new. (Isaiah 65:17-25; Rev. 21:1-4) Just recently, science discovered the universe was expanding. That fact nullified many false errors about Creation and confirmed its beginning with a Big Bang and its ultimate end. This universe is not fixed, nor eternal, there is an end to its expansion. Scripture says it will wear out like a garment. What does that mean? Clothing gets thin and holes appear in critical places. Eventually, the fabric falls apart. It is entirely possible that black holes which are being discovered among the stars are recent and more commonly appearing. They are simply holes of massive gravitational pull, exactly as the fabric of the universe is being pulled apart.
Last night we watched a video of natural disasters. It included massive landslides, raging destructive floods of water mud and even huge boulders. Hail storms of large hail, destructive winds and lightning. Ocean waves of tsunami force pushed massive ships and docks away burying the land under a watery invasion. Earthquakes shook buildings, sloshed water out of concrete swimming pools, opened giant crevice’s in the earth and pulled down buildings and mountainsides. It was shocking and this is only a glimpse of the coming end foretold in Scripture. (Luke 21: 22-26,33) There is no defense, we cannot flee earth for Mars, but God is a refuge for those who seek Him and accept Him for who He says He is – the One Father God over the universe.
