Beyond a Mirror’s View

“For now we see only a reflection as in a mirror; then we shall see face to face. Now I know in part; then I shall know fully, even as I am fully known.” (1 Corinthians 13:12)

When we activate faith in God and enter into the Spirit our view can be very different. The realm of this temporal world is full of shadows which our mind’s eye must interpret into a meaning of physical reality, but there is another more complete view that includes eternal spiritual reality. The word of God and Holy Spirit interpret the unseen spiritual reality. By faith the patriarchs, apostles, and ordinary people lived extraordinary lives. “By faith we understand that the universe was formed at God’s command, so that what is seen was not made out of what was visible… And what more shall I say? I do not have time to tell about Gideon, Barak, Samson and Jephthah, about David and Samuel and the prophets, who through faith conquered kingdoms, administered justice, and gained what was promised; who shut the mouths of lions, quenched the fury of the flames, and escaped the edge of the sword; whose weakness was turned to strength; and who became powerful in battle and routed foreign armies.”(Hebrews 11:3, 32-34) The Apostles believed, saw and participated in Yeshua’s miracles, walked on water, and proclaimed God’s message of love and truth. Ordinary people believed and received supernatural answers.

In the Spirit we can see by faith that we are God’s children. We can know He is working in and through us to accomplish His good purposes. In the Spirit we intercede, become fellow citizens with God’s people, a dwelling in which God lives, and participants standing against rulers, authorities, powers of this dark world, and spiritual forces of evil. (Eph. 2:10,19,22; 6:10-17) Can any Believer fail to see the Spiritual implications and manifestations surrounding Charlie Kirk’s life and death? Without comparison, can you believe God is working among every Believer as salt and light of the earth? (Matt. 5:13-16) God’s ways are opposite from the world’s. “But God chose the foolish things of the world to shame the wise; God chose the weak things of the world to shame the strong. God chose the lowly things of this world and the despised things—and the things that are not—to nullify the things that are, so that no one may boast before him…Therefore, as it is written: “Let the one who boasts boast in the Lord.” (1 Corinthians 1:27-29, 31) The Spirit is Christ in you, the hope of glory. (Col. 1:27)
