Ten Reasons to Support Israel

There is a slight schism promoted by Democrat Media and initiated by Tucker Carlson’s recent unexplained hatred of Jews. This is probably due to his waining popularity and influence in the political arena/marketplace. Irrespective of the motive or objective, here are ten reasons to support Israel, (and ignore Carlson).

  1. The Israeli nation is a good friend, ally and trading partner to America.
  2. Israel has given more to the world in terms of genius, creativity, innovation, and wisdom than many other larger nations combined.
  3. Israel’s army and intelligence services are one of the best in the world and is a stabilizing force in the Middle East, assisting American foreign policy.
  4. Israel seeks peace, is not an aggressor nation and is the ancestral home for Jews world-wide, though they have been unjustly persecuted by neighboring nations, Islamists and the UN.
  5. More Jews are in America than any other country including Israel and (other than some poor political affiliations), they have been noble citizens.
  6. Jews have excelled in certain businesses and professions such as finance, Entertainment, Law and Medical fields, thus contributing positively to American achievement.

Theological basis

  1. Christianity and Judaism share the one Father God of the Bible, “I Am”, “the God of Abraham, Issac and Jacob.” (Exodus 3:14-15)
  2. God promised Abraham, “I will bless those who bless you, and whoever curses you I will curse; and all peoples on earth will be blessed through you.”(Genesis 12:3)
  3. Scripture teaches that believers owe a spiritual debt to the Jews for their scriptures, the Christ/Messiah, and the Patriarchs. (Romans 9:4-5, 10:12, 11:17-18; Isa. 49:6; John 4:22; Matt. 5:17; Eph. 2:11-13)
  4.  Jewish religious practice and traditions foster stable, strong families that are foundational to a healthy American society.

Not every migrant group can boast of such notable contributions to American society as the Jews. These facts are simply the fulfillment of scripture for those of faith. Moreover, certain recent  migrant groups have refused to assimilate into American society and culture and are causing a terrible burden and division, consequently. For many decades Blacks have been the benefactors of EEO preferences as they were once poorly treated; the Jews have suffered perhaps more world-wide than any other group, besides Christians, without any grant of preference. Is it too much to defend the victim of years of attempted and threatened annihilation? Lastly, considering America has been for decades the focus of terrorism and lethal threats by the same Islamists enemies of Israel, why shouldn’t we ally with and support Israel against our common enemy.
