God’s Choice

“In him we were also chosen, having been predestined according to the plan of him who works out everything in conformity with the purpose of his will,… And you also were included in Christ when you heard the message of truth, the gospel of your salvation. When you believed, you were marked in him with a seal, the promised Holy Spirit, who is a deposit guaranteeing our inheritance until the redemption of those who are God’s possession—to the praise of his glory.” (Ephesians 1:11, 13-14)

The deposit of the Holy Spirit, of which God is so jealous, (James 4:5) guarantees our inheritance together with Israel, God’s chosen possession, until they are redeemed. When is that? When Yeshua, Israel’s Messiah, returns to rescue and deliver Israel from certain annihilation. Israel’s inclusion in the Body of Messiah together with Believers from the nations will make the deposit no longer necessary, as Yeshua will be upon the earth again, as the “Lion of the Tribe of Judah”. As the Children of God are caught up together in the clouds the Spirit in all Believers will be taken out of the earth.

A horrible vacuum of God’s presence on earth will trigger a release of God’s wrath upon the earth. Those left have desired evil wickedness to be unrestrained by the Spirit. (2 Thess. 2:7) They will experience several years of unprecedented tribulation. There will be no equal to the misery coming upon the objects of God’s wrath. It will be like wicked Haman’s execution on the gallows he built for Mordecai. (Esther 7:1-10) It will be like Pharaoh, after Egypt was utterly wasted by plagues concluding with the death of every first-born and watching his army swallowed up and drowned in the Red Sea as Moses led the Hebrews through on dry land. (Exodus 14: 23-29) It will be God’s righteous justice against all pride, lust, hate, crime, corruption, atrocity, war, genocide, holocaust, slaughter, torture, mass murder and cruelty against innocent babies aborted and sacrificed to demons during the whole history of mankind.

People have scoffed at and mocked God, questioning His patience, justice, authority, and Sovereignty. “Therefore God has mercy on whom he wants to have mercy, and he hardens whom he wants to harden. One of you will say to me: “Then why does God still blame us? For who is able to resist his will?” But who are you, a human being, to talk back to God? “Shall what is formed say to the one who formed it, ‘Why did you make me like this?’ ” What if God, although choosing to show his wrath and make his power known, bore with great patience the objects of his wrath—prepared for destruction? What if he did this to make the riches of his glory known to the objects of his mercy, whom he prepared in advance for glory— even us, whom he also called, not only from the Jews but also from the Gentiles?” (Romans 9:18-20, 22-24)
