I was listening to a popular media speaker as he and others pitched some predictions for the coming New Year. There were many predictions relating to AI, its intrusive entry into society, business and government with unrestrained control. One prediction was made that a well know politician would admit to having communicated with non-human intelligence. It was uncertain whether he was referring AI, Extraterrestrials, or something else. One commentator stated, “I’m sure numerous politicians around the world regularly communicate with demons.”
The concept of our intellect refers to the power of knowing as distinguished from the power to feel and to will; the capacity for knowledge; the capacity for rational or intelligent thought especially when highly developed. (Merriam Webster) The dictionary contrasts it with feeling and willing. Therefore, scripture clearly warns Believers to not rely upon human intellect, but rather God, through His word, the Bible, and the Holy Spirit. (1 Corinthians 1:18-25; Colossians 2:8; Proverbs 3:5-6; Isaiah 55:8-9; James 3:13-17; Romans 12:2; Psalm 146:3-4; 1 Timothy 6:20-21; Proverbs 14:12; Matthew 11:25) We have few barriers to the access of our intellect as evidenced by the recent rise and acceptance by some to Transgenderism. The scientific fact of two genders is set aside in people with gender dystopia who claim an identity opposed to fact. Down through human history we see examples of faulty reasoning, analysis and critical thinking, such as Communism, witchcraft, slavery, drug abuse, abortion, propaganda and sexual perversion.
These ideas and their consequential practices are diabolical. These mentioned are responsible for tens of billions of people killed or murdered, which is a lot considering there are estimated 108 billion people ever to have lived. Diabolical means, of the devil, who is the enemy of God and Mankind made in God’s image. The mystery hidden through the ages was God’s plan of redemption, the Good News, planned before Creation – Christ in you, the hope of glory. (Col. 1:25-27)
While we were dead in our sins, God sent His Son, Yeshua, born of a woman as a man, to be Israel’s Messiah. He died upon a Roman cross for the propitiation of the sins of everyone who believes upon Him. He rose from the grave and ascended to Father God, triumphing over the enemy. As guaranteed evidence, He gave the gift of the indwelling Holy Spirit, via a spiritual rebirth to each Believer. Through His Spirit Yeshua lives, communicates, guides, comforts, directs, protects, enlightens and imbibes the life, light, truth and word of God. (John 3-4; Rom. 7-8; Gal. 5; 1 Cor. 13-14; 1 John) Yeshua, Messiah, divine/human, is the only intellect to trust.
