By Your Words

“A good man brings good things out of the good stored up in him, and an evil man brings evil things out of the evil stored up in him. But I tell you that everyone will have to give account on the day of judgment for every empty word they have spoken. For by your words you will be acquitted, and by your words you will be condemned.” (Matthew 12:35-37)

Judgement is waiting for everyone that is not perfect, sinless and holy before God. Everyone who has been forgiven has received it by grace, not through effort and deeds. There is only one worthy in Heaven and Earth – Yeshua Messiah. Through Him forgiveness was made available to all who believe and trust wholly in Him. As a guarantee and seal of the grace gift, Holy Spirit is given to each one through a spiritual rebirth. The Holy Spirit changes everything that is eternal, but the temporal mortal body and life remain.

“All that belongs to the Father is mine. That is why I said the Spirit will receive from me what he will make known to you.” (John 16:15) Yeshua is the Word of God. (John 1:1-4) The Spirit brings God’s written and living word to the mind of Believers. Every good and perfect gift comes from the Father. When we bless others there is consequence beyond just hearing, as God inhabits our words and we are participating with the spirit in prayer.

When, if ever, are we asked, “Raise your hand if you are a Believer and follower of Yeshua Messiah.” How many of us have doubts about making this public affirmation? Is it because we are unsure that we are worthy? Are we so weighed-down with sins and failure that we don’t know whether we will be saved? The grace of God has made every believer sin free, completely righteous in His eyes. Have we listened to the enemy’s accusations, rather than believed the word of God and listened to the Spirit’s voice. If we confess our sins God is faithful and just to forgive. (1 John 1:9) Agree regarding our weakness and unworthiness and take on His Righteousness by faith and the power of the Blood of the Lamb. Stop condemning yourself and trying to be perfect on your own. “Do not repay evil with evil or insult with insult. On the contrary, repay evil with blessing, because to this you were called so that you may inherit a blessing.” (1 Peter 3:9)
