Foundations of Law

There are many tenets of law which safeguard justice, such as, laws are to apply to all equally; each case is judged on its own merits; justice has no favoritism as to an individual traits; the accused has a right to confront his accuser, and everyone is assumed innocent until proven guilty. There are more, but in these we see today there is an erosion in the Rule of Law. The law is not applied to all equally, as identity politics has created preferences for minorities and presumptions based on public opinion. For example, it is assumed that voter registration and verification via a photo I.D. is discriminatory to certain groups. Yet, photos are commonplace in our society, freely and widely available to all, nevertheless certain Minorities suggest they require a privilege. This is unjust. Racial and gender quotas are used in university acceptance and scholarship determination, but this is unjustly, by not treating each applicant equally upon merit, such quotas establish preferences for race or gender. The law is to be blind as to a persons race, gender, age, religion, etc., but today discrimination upon these aspects is not only allowed, but promoted.

Public opinion has infiltrated the sphere of law, assumptions are given weight in the legal process. The LBGTQ groups assert they are abused, in order to secure preferences, but there is no evidence of it. Two Black Tennessee State representatives were expelled for gross violations of the legislatures longstanding rules, (leading a protest that stopped chamber business and using a bull horn to disrupt legislative order), but they were reinstated because of their race. They were allowed to flaunt the law, because of their race. This is unjust. There seems to be no end to special laws, granting preferences to identity groups. Laws should apply to everyone equally. In recent years there have been numerous violent destructive riots without any enforcement of laws against such destruction. This is unjust as it allows certain groups to evade laws which are meant to protect society from violence and crime. Similarly, the FBI has been weaponized to attack parents, religious persons, and others based on their political speech and opinions. An agency organized to enforce the law is being used to violate rights of individuals granted in the Constitution. This is unjust.

Powers of investigative and prosecutorial authority are being used for political purposes to cast doubt and suggest guilt before any evidence has been obtained, verified or a verdict rendered. Over and again two very different standards of law are applied to those in power versus their opponents. Irrespective of the political parties, the biased high Tech media and deep state are continuing to accuse and prosecute Donald Trump and his followers for obvious political motives, while Biden is excused for similar actions, e.g. quip pro quo, collusion, obstruction/abuse of power, mishandling classified documents, etc. “When the foundations are being destroyed, what can the righteous do?…For the Lord is righteous, he loves justice; the upright will see his face.”(Psalms 11:3, 7)
