Males in Women’s Locker Rooms

Last year, Blake Allen and her Father Travis took a stand against a trans-identifying male student using the girls’ locker room at Randolph Union Middle/High School located in Vermont. The transgender male was making the females undressing around him uncomfortable for obvious reasons. The girls said that he stood in the corner and looked at them while they were changing after being asked to leave. While objecting to the biological male using the facilities, Travis and Blake allegedly “misgendered” the student, identifying the transgender as a man, which resulted in the school district disciplining them both. The Orange Southwest School District Board suspended the father “without pay from his job as the Randolph Union Middle School girl’s soccer coach” for this misgendering offense. Blake Allen and several of her teammates were banned from using the locker room as a result of having criticized the transgender student. Blake was told that she would only be let back in if she publicly apologized for her feelings of discomfort.

The Allen’s brought suit last October claiming that they “were punished for expressing their view on a matter of profound public concern.” The Vermont school district recently settled for $125,000 in damages and a promise to reinstate Travis as the soccer coach. Also, any records of discipline against him and his daughter will be removed from the school database. Further, bulletin boards at the school displaying “love and support” messages to the trans-identifying student will be removed. The Alliance Defending Freedom hailed the settlement as a resounding victory for freedom of speech. No word on whether the transgender male will be allowed to continue to use the girl’s locker room, although presumedly the offending girls will again have access to the locker room.

The perverts who continue to support men changing in women’s locker rooms, and this is not the only place it is currently happening, have to be fought at every turn and we have the free speech rights to do so. The good people of our nation have to speak out boldly against these wicked people until we get these practices outlawed. We have to protect the children, at all costs, from these predators who war against them. Most importantly, we need to pray for these transgender people and their supporters that they would find Jesus and repent of these sins and turn back to sound moral principles.
