The Lord, Yeshua, Messiah is the pinnacle of perfection, fully human as He is fully God. It is only fitting and right that we give Him the praise due his name. Set aside everything and seek His face. Praise His mercy shown you, praise Him above the highest heavens. Give praise recounting His goodness to you from your birth till now. Praise Him for His lovingkindness shown to you. He was a friend when all others turned away. He came and stood by your side when they ridiculed and abused you. When fear gripped and choked you, He was there reassuring and setting you free. When you were caught in chains of selfishness and sin, sick miserable and alone, He spoke forgiveness and life, restoring your sanity. When you were successful in the world and turned away forgetting Him, going your own way, He never gave up on you and welcomed you back with rejoicing.
He has been your life. Your healer, your joy and strength, your light in darkness, your sheltering rock in disaster, your strong tower in battle, your shepherd in times of uncertain provision, your counselor in confusion, your source of wealth and wisdom. He has been your song in the night. He has carried you and cradled you in His everlasting arms. It was by His encouragement that you took your first steps and found your way ever after. He was the one that put you in family. He is your blessing. Everything of eternal worth came to you from His hands.
If there is any skill in your hands, any wisdom in your words, any strength in your arms, any vision in your gaze, any music in your ear, any thanksgiving in your mouth, any love in your heart, all these are there by His gracious gifting.
You pushed back in pride against His humility which brought your exaltation. You ran in fear from His calling which was the source of your accomplishment and satisfaction. You resisted suffering in selfishness while His persistence taught you obedience and the nearness of God. You cried and begged for things that would never satisfy and He loved you to death on a cross exchanging His righteousness for your sins. Though it never came in your mind He gave you the Holy Spirit filling your innermost being with God’s power and presence. To your utter surprise He poured out His love into your heart.
Search your heart, review your life’s journey, focus your attention heart, mind, soul and strength upon His face with piercing eyes of love – your King, Lord, Savior and friend, Yeshua, to whom all praise and glory is due.
