Lord, Your ways are marvelous, incomprehensible and majestic. When I try to grasp or understand your thoughts I am bewildered. I know that I want to be in your presence and to experience communion with you. You reveal things to your children, so we will believe or to encourage us or just to express your Love. Thank you for the simplicity of your call and that children perceive you with ease, while wisemen strain to grasp your Spiritual reality.
“Then they said to him, “What must we do, to be doing the works of God?” Jesus answered them, “This is the work of God, that you believe in him whom he has sent.”
(John 6:28-29 ESV) Lord, you have made the impossible clear and fundamental. We wait on you, but you are working each day.
Lord raise up evangelist who will follow your lead. Call out intercessors who will join your intercession for the saints. Raise up the humble who chose to lowest place and give all glory to you. Let the redeemed of the Lord declare it. Send forth words of encouragement to lift the oppressed and release captives. Lead us in worship and praise to your almighty name. The heavens declare your glory. The rocks cry out your praises. Glory in the highest belongs to you.
You know our thoughts before we do, give us the mind of Messiah. Inhabit our prayers, such that your relief and provision arrive in your perfect timing. Open our eyes to see things in the Spirit, things working out for good, forgiveness given instead of blame, joy raining down washing away sadness and sorrow. Let us live in expectation of new mercies every morning.
How great is your faithfulness; you do not treat us according to what our sins deserve. Goodness and peace are found in the shelter of your arms. How you are a loving father to us, reliable, trustworthy, faithful and gracious. Yeshua, you picked the children up in your arms and blessed them. Even today, some of us are covered with the world’s filth, some are infirmed with old age, others who are bent over carrying the weight of bitterness and grudges, you still hold us near to your heart and brush us clean and free. You see though us and know us fully and still love us in your perfect love, because you are God Almighty, King of the Universe, Author of life and rewarder of those who earnestly seek you.
