I was finishing a letter to a believer in difficult circumstances, and I began to get a glimpse of God’s perspective of her. She is ordinary like most of us, filled with uncertainty and weak in terms of ability to achieve any significance in society. In fact, society considers her a nobody. However, she was chosen by God and given a measure of faith. That faith is like a small seed that grows up to produce a mighty oak tree or a smaller tree laden with fruit. What I began to see was an unlimited, all-powerful God inside the heart of a weak, flawed, common woman who had surrendered and submitted her life to Him. That all surpassing,
incomprehensible, unlimited power is also in us who are like ordinary dispensable containers. “…His incomparably great power for us who believe. That power is the same as the mighty strength he exerted when he raised Christ from the dead and seated him at his right hand in the heavenly realms…” (Eph. 1: 19-20).
God is invisible and His work and purpose is beyond human comprehension or understanding, except to those whom he chooses to reveal it. So, God is working through the worldwide congregation of believers just as He did when He walked upon this earth as Yeshua Messiah. He is opening eyes that are blind, freeing captives from prison and releasing from the dungeon those who sit in darkness. (Isa. 42: 7). If you were doing this, you would know it, but God is doing it so that He gets the glory and because only He is able. Lay down all your grunting, tension, striving, and heavy labor to make a life for yourself out of your paupers strength. “Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy and my burden is light.” (Matt. 11: 28-30). Get His vision and see that your new life is hidden in Him. “For you died, and your life is now hidden with Christ in God. When Christ, who is your life, appears, then you also will appear with him in glory.” (Col. 3: 3-4). Trust God that He is able to accomplish everything He has said He would and lay hold of the promises that are yours in Messiah Yeshua.
