The God of Abraham, Issac and Jacob, of Israel and the Hope of the nations has called all men to Himself. It is not necessary to try to be something you are not, you only need to call on His name, Yeshua, and fear Him as the one and only Son of the true God Almighty. Humble yourself and pray that He will give you life through His Holy Spirit. King Solomon saw this three thousand years ago as he dedicated the temple.
“As for the foreigner who does not belong to your people Israel but has come from a distant land because of your name—for they will hear of your great name and your mighty hand and your
outstretched arm—when they come and pray toward this temple, then hear from heaven, your dwelling place. Do whatever the foreigner asks of you, so that all the peoples of the earth may know your name and fear you, as do your own people Israel, and may know that this house I have built bears your Name.” (1 Kings 8:41-43).
Yeshua came to redeem Israel for God, but they rejected Him, mostly, but God broadened His salvation to all people from every nation who would believe upon Messiah, Yeshua, as Savior. He said, “Whoever believes in me, as Scripture has said, rivers of living water will flow from within them.” By this he meant the Spirit, whom those who believed in him were later to receive. Up to that time the Spirit had not been given, since Jesus had not yet been glorified.” (John 7: 38-39). For I will pour water on the thirsty land, and streams on the dry ground; I will pour out my Spirit on your offspring, and my blessing on your descendants.” (Isaiah 44: 3).
“Yet to all who did receive him, to those who believed in his name, he gave the right to become children of God” (John 1: 12). Will you open your heart to Him today? He will do everything from that point to bring you to glory. He will lead you, transform your innermost being, clean your stains of evil, wash your wounds, make your paths straight, give you a willing spirit and everything that leads to eternal life in God’s presence. All you will need is to say, Yes, and surrender to His rule over you. Will you lay down your striving and failure, your selfishness that promised happiness, but resulted only in pain and suffering? His promises to Israel have been extended to us, also.
“The eternal God is your refuge, and underneath are the everlasting arms. He will drive out your enemies before you, saying, ‘Destroy them!’ So Israel will live in safety; Jacob will dwell secure in a land of grain and new wine, where the heavens drop dew. Blessed are you, Israel! Who is like you, a people saved by the Lord? He is your shield and helper and your glorious sword. Your enemies will cower before you, and you will tread on their heights.” (Deuteronomy 33: 27-29).
