It may seem arrogant at first, but God has not hidden Himself from His children.  He revealed Himself as fully as possible in human form through Yeshua Messiah.  His words endure through the generations and His lovingkindness and mercy is new every morning.  If you are a Believer you can know the heart of God.  He has given you His indwelling Holy Spirit as an interpreter.  Listen with your Spiritual ears and see how God would love, serve, speak, or stand in every circumstance.  This is His heart to wayward Israel (and us), “My eyes will watch over them for their good, and I will bring them back to this land.  I will build them up and not tear them down; I will plant them and not uproot them.  I will give them a heart to know me, that I am the Lord.  They will be my people, and I will be their God, for they will return to me with all their heart.” (Jeremiah 24: 6-7).

Do you know Father God this way?  Say, Yes, I want to know you more.  Draw near Him and He will draw near to you. Though He is not like us and His ways are not our ways, the Holy Spirit teaches us the way of Love.  As we deny ourselves, take up the instrument of death to the old fallen nature and follow Yeshua he will reveal Himself to us. This is the path of salvation, losing our self-absorbed life and securing the life abundant found through God in us the hope of glory.  This may sound like a lot of action on our part, but we only return in surrender and submission.  He does all the rest, including giving us a heart to know Him.
