It is indisputable that there is a fascist/socialist bias in the major media entities. Formerly, liberal was a term used to describe this bias, but in recent years they have abandoned liberal thought for fascist socialism. These same entities like to assert they are the fourth branch of government. Proceeding the election of Donald Trump and the exhaustive investigations into both Hillary Clinton and Mr. Trump, it was revealed that a written agreement was made between the Democrat party and these major media entities to fully support Mrs. Clinton’s campaign. This documentation of what was already observed by many, refuted the notion and suggestion of media independence, objectivity, and trust-worthiness. Following this disclosure these organization have come out from their pretense of objectivity and are bold activists for fascist socialism.
Most Liberals or Socialists with any integrity will admit this media bias, but they also appreciate it, because they think their ideology is best and therefore, worthy of a bias. They like hearing ideas that appeal to their philosophy and they welcome attacks upon Conservative/Republic thinkers who suffer this bias along with fake and false reports that Socialists believe even after they are discredited. Different ideologies regarding government formation and control have always been debated, which is fine, but how does a biased media’s active participation in this public debate impact the concept of free speech? Can public speech remain free when biased immoral entities have veto control over what is communicated?
The major media entities, ABC, CBS, NBC, MSNBC, CNN, ESPN, are corporations or businesses owned by private interests, with the exception of PBS, which receives significant funding from the Federal government. Why does our government fund PBS and their biased political activities? The major media print entities are the NY Times, Gannett’s USA TODAY, Associated Press, Wall Street Journal, etc. The internet media platforms are Google, Facebook, Apple, and Microsoft. With the exception of print media, electronic media is an oligopoly controlled by a very few entities and they are related and committed to globalist, fascist, socialist activism. The bias in reporting involves failing to report, as well as distorting the truth of what is reported. Most of the truth behind Hillary Clinton’s criminal activity and the associated failed coop against the Trump administration has been unreported by the major media.
The US Constitution gives corporate entities great freedom and latitude to operate as they choose. However, longstanding law and court rulings have restrictions on antitrust and monopolistic arrangements. The body of antitrust law was enacted to protect the public interest against entities that elevate their individual interest above that of the public. Standard Oil was a landmark case that prevented a monopolized petroleum industry. History proves that monopolistic practices are contrary to competition, free markets and the public’s interest. Historically, corporations were focused on making money, but in an environment were competition does not exist, the profit is guaranteed to each of member of the oligopoly (a few entities acting in concert for monopolistic purposes). Those who wish to do business or communicate through the internet with a national or international audience must use these electronic platforms that operate on publicly owned wavelengths and infrastructures. Yet, these few entities have crushed all serious competition and are actively censuring free speech under the guise of political correctness and security. Recent congressional hearings, undercover investigations, and whistleblowers have revealed that these entities have been active in attempting to control future elections and promote the medias fascist/socialist agenda through cooperation with the Democrat party and the Deep state. Competition has been eliminated through monopolistic activities and it is past time to effect an investigation of antitrust violations in this electronic digital communications industry.
Our founders understood the importance of a free press, but where control of electronic digital public speech becomes secretly subverted, it is a fraud on the public and violation of the tenants of free speech. James Madison said, “The people shall not be deprived or abridged of their right to speak, or to publish their sentiments; and the freedom of the press, as one of the great bulwarks of liberty, shall be inviolable.” He also recognized an inherent danger of unfettered corporate entities.
“There is an evil which ought to be guarded against in the indefinite accumulation of property from the capacity of holding it in perpetuity by…corporations. The power of all corporations ought to be limited in this respect. The growing wealth acquired by them never fails to be a source of abuses.” – James Madison. If the deep state, the criminal activity of the Democrat party, and the oligopoly of electronic media entities can be fully exposed and prosecuted under the law it will go a long way to restore damage done in the last forty years of media bias.
