God On Earth

“Walk about Zion, go around her, count her towers, consider well her ramparts, view her citadels, that you my tell of them to the next generation. For this God is our God for ever and ever; he will be our guide even to the end.” (Psalm 48: 12-14).

God is present among His people and they have access to Him. The unseen world is more vast than the universe which will one day be rolled up as a scroll to make way for heaven. We know this by the Spirit who gives understanding of God’s Word. God gives good things to His people, the congregation of Believers. He brings forth words of encouragement set in song. The Holy Spirit aligns hearts, minds, and voices in praise and worship. Spiritual communication is through relationship with Yeshua in the innermost being. Yeshua said, “He will glorify me because it is from me that he will receive what he will make known to you. All that belongs to the Father is mine. That is why I said the Spirit will receive from me what he will make known to you.” (John 16: 14-15).

These evidences of the Spirit are like wind rustling leaves and branches, bending the slender trunks with its force, marking His leading. (John 3:8). The repercussions leave change, hope, stir up righteousness, and release all the good there is in life. It’s like the rain that drives against walls, washing and softening the dry earth restoring fertility. Every good and perfect gift comes down from the Father in whom there is no shade or shadow. His work goes on bringing about, carrying along, driving behind, drawing all things forward to Himself. (Psalms 139: 1-12).

It was God’s idea to fashion a living temple were He would be pleased to dwell. The building bricks were fashioned after His own image. God’s house is living by His Spirit presence that resides in each living spiritual stone. God living in a temple that lives in Him. “Don’t you know that you yourselves are God’s temple and that God’s Spirit dwells in your midst?” (1 Cor. 3: 16). “As you come to him, the living Stone—rejected by humans but chosen by God and precious to him—you also, like living stones, are being built into a spiritual house to be a holy priesthood, offering spiritual sacrifices acceptable to God through Jesus Christ.” (1 Peter 2: 4-5). The whole earth could not contain God Almighty, but the living God dwells in the living temple of His people. God has not abandoned His creation and He is near to all who call on Him. (Ps. 145: 18).
