Prayer Debriefing Issue 2

As I was praying over our followers, some are just blog names, I saw many reasons to read our posts and follow the Conservative Christian Apologist. God is working, inspiring prayers, answering them, working miracles, touching hearts, all in His unseen ways. We all are part of His plans, everyone, even those opposed to us.  Yeshua, (Jesus’ Hebrew name) instructed us, “But to you who are listening I say: Love your enemies, do good to those who hate you, bless those who curse you, pray for those who mistreat you.” (Luke 6:27-28) We are praying for each one, things are happening and love never fail

Believers cannot be possessed by demons, but we can be oppressed and succumb to their lies, snares, and evil influences when we stray from under God’s umbrella of protection in the Holy Spirit. Scripture reminds us, “Be alert and of sober mind. Your enemy the devil prowls around like a roaring lion looking for someone to devour. Resist him, standing firm in the faith, because you know that the family of believers throughout the world is undergoing the same kind of sufferings. And the God of all grace, who called you to his eternal glory in Christ, after you have suffered a little while, will himself restore you and make you strong, firm and steadfast.” (Peter 5:8-10) Yeshua won victory over the enemy. The indwelling Holy Spirit is our strong tower of defense. Lord, restore every follower in your family in every area where we have strayed from you and given the enemy a foothold. We speak forgiveness to those who have mistreated us and receive your forgiveness for our sin. (Matt. 6:14) Thank you that your spring of life is ever purifying us and conforming us more and more into the image of Messiah. Set each of us free from any worldly evil bondage in the name of Yeshua, the name above all names.

Today, as I prayed over each of you, up popped Colossians 1:5-12, which explains the power of love, faith and hope that comes from the true Good News in each Believer across the world. It is easy to forget that, “…the gospel is bearing fruit and growing throughout the whole world—just as it has been doing among you…”. So our prayer is for God to fill you with the knowledge of his will through all the wisdom and understanding that the Spirit gives, so that you may live a life worthy of the Lord and please him in every way: bearing fruit in every good work, growing in the knowledge of God, being strengthened with all power according to his glorious might so that you may have great endurance and patience, and giving joyful thanks to the Father, who has qualified you to share in the inheritance of his holy people in the kingdom of light. Considering Paul’s prayer and praying it over you, I see that my prayers to date have been too limited.

The final focus for this issue is a prayer for more of His presence and this with a hunger for the Word and Spirit. When Israel turned their hearts to God, to seek His face, God answered as long as it was sincere. He promised that when we draw near to Him, He responds. (James 4:8) Within us are the barriers, He does not tire of us, His love never fails to seek and find us.
