“Whoever is pregnant with evil conceives trouble and gives birth to disillusionment. Whoever digs a hole and scoops it out falls into the pit they have made. The trouble they cause recoils on them; their violence comes down on their own heads.” (Psalms 7:14-16) These are the facts on earth ruled by God. You may say, “I see evil people getting away with lies, crime and prospering.” Yes, this may happen in the short term because God is merciful and patient allowing opportunities for people to change and turn away from evil. Moreover, He says, “Let the one who does wrong continue to do wrong; let the vile person continue to be vile; let the one who does right continue to do right; and let the holy person continue to be holy.” (Revelation 22:11) We often hear about things at the start or pinnacle of their span, seldom do we hear the whole story. A famous Hollywood couple proudly announced they would wait several years before allowing their baby to decide its sexual orientation. They apparently wanted to demonstrate their support for political correctness in gender identity. However, when their child becomes disillusioned and confused by their unresponsive parenting it may not be in the headlines or attributed to other reasons, but God’s Word is sure and true. “Fathers, do not exasperate your children; instead, bring them up in the training and instruction of the Lord.” (Ephesians 6:4) 

Yeshua, (Jesus’ Hebrew name) said, “All things have been committed to me by my Father. No one knows the Son except the Father, and no one knows the Father except the Son and those to whom the Son chooses to reveal him.” (Matthew 11:27) This is a truth that is observed and confirmed in reality. Who can see or know anything of God unless Yeshua opens our eyes of faith. The lost often try to do good in their own understanding just like the parents mentioned above, but they have no knowledge of God who alone is good and shows the way of righteousness. “The god of this age has blinded the minds of unbelievers, so that they cannot see the light of the gospel that displays the glory of Christ, who is the image of God.” (2 Corinthians 4:4) Mankind is in a fallen corrupted state, unless God intervened by providing a savior/Messiah there would be no hope. No one can choose the right, consistently which righteousness requires. God has provided our Savior, Yeshua, and He saves us, not ourselves or we could boast. (Eph. 2:9) Some will say we have free will to choose, but our choices are only limited to this life on earth, with respect to all things eternal we are dependent on God. Still, we are responsible for the wrong we choose and do. In fact, Believers are saved by grace, as no human is righteous except the One God/man Yeshua, Messiah. (Ps. 10:1;14:1-3; 36:1; 53:1-3: Eccles. 7:20) In the end God will judge and separate evil from good, death from life, and sin from righteousness, Hell from Heaven, until then we must endure and seek God for His provision, protection, blessing and presence, which are also facts in reality as evidenced in the birth, life, death and resurrection of Yeshua Messiah. As Believers we are well acquainted with our shortcomings and we don’t judge the lost, confused wanders, as we are also broken in our fallen human nature, but we have seen the light of the world that points all to Him – Yeshua, Messiah, Lord of Lords and King of Kings. He is the Way, the Truth and the Life.
