There is an awakening to God’s Holy Spirit rising today. There is also resistance from the usual sources and even religious men, some of whom are believers. (Gal. 2:3-6) The same rebellious fallen human nature exists in everyone, but Yeshua has and continues to overcome. (Rom. 8:7) Are we willing to turn away from our unbelief and resistance to the Holy Spirit? (Col. 1:9-10) Why does Revival tarry, not because God is holding it back, but because of unbelief. (Matt. 13:58) Nevertheless, the Spirit dwells in each Believer. (1 Cor. 12:3-11, Acts 5:32) He is able to do everything scripture says He can and will do. (John 16:13-15) He can make you and I pleasing to God. (Rom. 12:1-2) Do you believe it? Is pleasing God something you even think about or desire?
I watched a vulture flying in the sky. It circled seeking thermals of warm rising air upon which it travelled. Occasionally it had to briefly flap its broad wings, but just as quick it caught the wind and circled to new heights. The Holy Spirit is like the wind that moves us, lifting, empowering, leading when and were to go, even when our wings are required. Faith is the key to our cooperation with the Holy Spirit. (Gal. 3:7-9) The word of God is the spark which ignites faith in God. ( Rom. 10:17) The word points us to the Spirit’s essential guidance. (2 Cor. 5:7) The Spirit brings the word to mind and we are faced with a decision to believe and act upon God’s word or turn away in rationalization. (John 14:26; Gal. 5:17) Is God who He says He is? Can clear scripture be trusted and effective? Are things impossible for us possible with God? (Matt. 21-21-22)
Must we address these issues intellectually? (John 3:6-8) Does the vulture decide every flap of his wing or does he rely on the wind for motion? What can you truly expect of God? (Prov. 30:5) Is He willing to make you and I pleasing to Himself? What does it look like? How is this possible? Abraham pleased God because he believed and it was counted as righteousness. (2 Cor. 5:21) The Pharisees searched the scriptures in vain because the scriptures pointed to Yeshua whom they had dismissed. (John 5:39-40) The scripture directs Believers to walk in the Spirit giving the flesh no place. (Gal. 5:16) God is searching for those who will worship Him in Spirit and truth, are we willing to submit to the Spirit’s guidance. (John 4:23-24) The Holy Spirit is calling all people to Yeshua, Messiah. (1 Cor. 12:3) You can listen as well as you hear.
