“They made me jealous by what is no god and angered me with their worthless idols. I will make them envious by those who are not a people; I will make them angry by a nation that has no understanding.” (Deuteronomy 32:21; Rom. 10:19)
This is an important prophetic scripture. Is it happening today? There is a lot of controversy with Israel. Antisemitism is increasing exponentially as wars erupt in the Middle East and as Islamists are immigrating in mass to the West, particularly Europe. On certain University campuses there are demonstrations against Israel and for “so called” Palestinians. Within the MAGA movement a Tucker Carlson splinter group is expressing hate towards Israel. A fundamental belief referred to as “Christian Zionism” has become a target in the secular media.
Zionism is a simple belief that Jews should live in the land historically belonging to them, titled as Israel since 1948 by several agreements and declarations after WWII. Of course, practicing Christians understand the scriptural roots and historical evidence of the “Holy Land” and its centuries of occupation by Jews. Moreover, they have reestablished their claims to the Land by many victorious wars. The “so called”, “Palestinians” have no such claim in fact or history and are a mix of Arabic refugees, that have been refused repatriation to their Arabic states so they can be used as a political weapon against Israel. Their plight is a sad one, but not because of Israel.
Christian Zionism is well supported in scripture, particularly, the prophetic return as a nation in 1948. It has resulted in a tremendous unity between Christians and Jews who are like-minded Zionists. Moreover Christian Fundamentalist Zionist have perhaps become Israel’s best supporter. This has opened understanding and communication between these groups around the world. Israel has very few Christians, as low as many Muslim nations, but appears more tolerant of the Messianic Christian message.
Is it possible this is evidence of a fulfillment of the ancient prophecy that God would make Israel jealous or envious of Gentiles? Is it equally a result of Christian’s belief in God’s promise to Abraham, “I will bless those who bless you, and whoever curses you I will curse; and all peoples on earth will be blessed through you.” (Genesis 12:3) Similarly, Secular elitists/socialists and radical Islamist have found unity in their hatred of Israel and Christians. These alliances and enmities are not coincidental as they a founded in Scriptures and history over thousands of years, moreover, the conflict is diabolical between Spiritual forces of light and darkness. Take note the scriptural prophecies are incredibly accurate. “The light shines in the darkness, and the darkness has not overcome it.” (John 1:5)

Seems not many take Genesis 12:3 seriously.
