Two Thousand Years

“I have made you known to them, and will continue to make you known in order that the love you have for me may be in them and that I myself may be in them.” (John 17:26)

We know that Yeshua accomplished His mission in life, making atonement, redeeming a people for God, imparting the indwelling Holy Spirit, then sitting down at God’s right hand. He has since been interceding for the Saints and building His church upon the rock. 

The Holy Spirit has established a living temple of saints world-wide in which God’s presence inhabits His children on earth. The Church blossomed during the first Century through the Apostles and blood of martyred saints. In spite of the exaltation in cathedrals of men who supplanted the Spirit’s leadership, gifts, and priesthood of all Believers, Yeshua continued to pour out miracles and the power of God’s word, and the Gospel spread. The dark ages subsided with God’s gift of rudimentary medicine; a reformation, and the printing press. Freedom was being proclaimed and recognized as a divine gift to all men. Israel was scattered among the nations, but still was a blessing to all mankind, by advancements and knowledge. (Gen. 12:1-3; Isa. 49:6) Amid wars America was birthed as a “christian” nation and the church again carried the Gospel around the world. A Holy Spirit revival emerged and is continuing to awaken leadership of the Holy Spirit.

Was Yeshua merely sitting in prayer all this time? He was with each Believer, protecting, guiding, shepherding each one. He was building up His Congregation and raising up a People of God. He is inseparable from Father God and Holy Spirit, such that momentum of His Being flourished in the hearts of Believers/disciples.  Everything that was created is held together by Him. He is the Word of God that gives light to the world. (John 1) He is the head of the Church, His body. (Col. 1) In 1948, He regathered and reestablished Israel from among the nations in the land given to Abraham. He is coming back to earth to Physically and Spiritually save all Israel from certain annihilation. (Ezek. 36:26-36; Zeck. 12:3-9) He is going to reign on earth for a thousand years. (Rev. 20:4) He came to destroy the works of the devil and has been faithful doing so. (1 John 3:8) He will judge everyone, separating His sheep from the goats, the elect from the lost. (Matt. 25:32-33) He is still working among His people and that work has not diminished, but has been and is still advancing. (Luke 17:21; Matt. 11:12) The Spirit of Yeshua still inhabits the Congregation of Believers and His prayer is being fulfilled with unity of the First Century generation and the last generation. (John 17:20-24)
