What amazing grace and love believers have received, to be called Children of God. (1 John 3:1). It is a theme of our praise to God. I remember years ago someone came up with a bumper sticker that said, “Found it”, meaning that he found eternal Life in Yeshua Messiah, perhaps referring to Matt. 13:44-46 or Romans 10:20. It was popular in the Christian community but unbelievers ridiculed it because they could not understand. Believers can’t stop marveling in the grace and mercy of salvation.

“Father God, who has qualified us to share in the inheritance of his holy people in the kingdom of light.” (Col. 1:12).

Here is what God has done, marvelous and amazing:

1. Qualified us
2. To share in the inheritance
3. Among His holy people
4. In the Kingdom of light

This is a three-fold blessing with each aspect multiplied in magnificence and abundance. To be given a gift of greater worth than can be calculated is grace indescribable. Then to be accepted and adopted into God’s own family of Holy people, attributed full citizenship and blood line. Finally, with all this, to live and dwell in the Kingdom of light, glorious and majestic.

Believers enter into this joy today, even though it is yet to be fully realized in the presence of Almighty God. It took the Psalmist three psalms to adequately praise God for His loving-kindness, Psalms 148 – 150.  Let everything that has breath praise the Lord. Praise the Lord.
