There is a love story that will be completed in heaven. This story is an epic story that is as vast as time and deeper than human emotion can contain.  It is a story worthy of Heaven and exalts the only true God who is love.  It starts with the perfect love that exists between Father God and His one and only Son.  God’s desire is to make mankind in His image, male and female, and for them to dwell in His presence.  In the Garden of Eden He had a perfect relationship with His people.  However, an enemy lied to His people and they fell out of relationship with their God, dying physically and spiritually. All manner of evil was released in this fall, but God cannot be surprised.  God reached out to man in His mercy and lovingkindness, because love is bold, fearless, and never ends.

Certain men responded to God’s love.  Enoch walked faithfully with God, as one who pleased Him; then he was no more, because God took him away.  Later God recognized Abraham for he believed God, so righteousness was reckoned to him, and he became the father of all who believe.  Moreover, God choose Abraham and his descendants as a people and nation for Himself.  God took delight in His people.  He delivered them with His mighty right hand and brought them to a land flowing with milk and honey.  Time and again the people turned away from their loving God, but God never rejected them, in His great love.

At the right time God sent His Son to redeem His people.  The Son was willing to fully obey every direction of His Father and He became the sacrificial Lamb to take away the sin of mankind.  He restored fellowship with God through the Holy Spirit.  The curse of Adam was broken and through Messiah Yeshua all who believe are saved.  This unconditional love of God was so great that people from every tongue and tribe became believers and children of God.  “But because of his great love for us, God, who is rich in mercy,  made us alive with Christ even when we were dead in transgressions—it is by grace you have been saved.” (Eph. 2: 4-5).

Many of Abrahams physical descendants rejected their Messiah while He lived and walked among them.  However, the greatest love story of all is seen in many spheres.  So, in the end when Yeshua returns to earth He will save His people Israel.  “For the sake of his great name the Lord will not reject his people, because the Lord was pleased to make you his own.” (1 Samuel 12: 22).  The people who once rejected their Messiah will look to Him and say, “Blessed is He who comes in the name of the Lord.”  The full congregation of God from every nation will be united as one people in Yeshua Messiah.  They will be the bride of Messiah, made pure and spotless.  “The Lord your God is with you, the Mighty Warrior who saves.  He will take great delight in you; in his love he will no longer rebuke you, but will rejoice over you with singing.” (Zephaniah 3: 17).

All the prophets said will come true and the love story will be completed on earth and continue on to perfection in heaven.  God will delight in His people and His people will delight in Him.  “I delight greatly in the Lord; my soul rejoices in my God.  For he has clothed me with garments of salvation and arrayed me in a robe of his righteousness, as a bridegroom adorns his head like a priest, and as a bride adorns herself with her jewels.” (Isaiah 61:10).
