A bird has a sense of equilibrium in their head that enables the bird to maintain its head in a fixed position irrespective of the bird’s body, wings, tail and feet.  This is necessary as the bird flies by moving and positioning it’s wings and tail separately. We are made to travel with feet fixed to the ground, so our equilibrium is referenced to the ground rather than the air.  Of course we can fly, swim, dive, roll, climb and move in almost any manner with the devices and instrumentation that we have invented.  We were made by God to rule over all the creatures of the earth.  The animals have a distinct fear of man accordingly.  There is no animal that lives off humans as its prey. The closest

 thing to a predator of man might be the mosquito, but they only seek our blood and a drop is adequate.  They kill us consequently as a carrier of disease which is not actually predation.  This is not news to anyone but evolutionists, nevertheless, what do we know of God’s broader plan for mankind?

Man was made to rule under God and with Yeshua, although, “with” is inadequate to accurately express our relationship to Yeshua, and I’m not sure we can fully comprehend in this life what it will be to be in Him.  In this life God dwells in every believer and collectively, the Church, through the Holy Spirit and Yeshua.  “Now the Lord is the Spirit, and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is freedom.  And we all, who with unveiled faces contemplate the Lord’s glory, are being transformed into his image with ever-increasing glory, which comes from the Lord, who is the Spirit.” (2 Cor. 3: 17-18).

Meditate on this as you contemplate the Lord’s glory.  As brothers with Yeshua we will judge angels. (1 Cor. 6: 3).  Moreover, though humans were made a little lower than the angels, we are destined for a greater purpose.  “Are not all angels ministering spirits sent to serve those who will inherit salvation?” (Heb. 1: 14).  Our purpose is linked to our Messiah Yeshua, our Savior, brother, and the first-born resurrected one.  “It is not to angels that he has subjected the world to come, about which we are speaking.  But there is a place where someone has testified: ‘What is mankind that you are mindful of them, a son of man that you care for him? You made them a little lower than the angels; you crowned them with glory and honor and put everything under their feet.’  In putting everything under them, God left nothing that is not subject to them.  Yet at present we do not see everything subject to them.” (Heb. 2: 5-8).

“Peter answered him, ‘We have left everything to follow you!  What then will there be for us?’ Jesus said to them, ‘Truly I tell you, at the renewal of all things, when the Son of Man sits on his glorious throne, you who have followed me will also sit on twelve thrones, judging the twelve tribes of Israel’ .” ( Matt. 19: 27-28).  To a broader audience Yeshua said, “To the one who is victorious, I will give the right to sit with me on my throne, just as I was victorious and sat down with my Father on his throne.” (Rev. 3: 21).  Finally, the purpose of God will be fully realized, “And I heard a loud voice from the throne saying, ‘Look!  God’s dwelling place is now among the people, and he will dwell with them.  They will be his people, and God himself will be with them and be their God.’ ” (Rev. 21: 3).  God made mankind for himself.
