Is Life So Dear

The struggle for liberty and the destiny of the men who were willing to lay down their lives in its pursuit, and more so, their responsibility owed both to God and Country was at risk, the tipping point was eminent, the point of no return immediate.  However, long before this point in time, the founders of America had agreed that liberty and freedom were ideals and truths of the greatest worth and value.  They had committed and submitted themselves to God’s providence with an assurance that God in His great mercy desired that America should be one nation under God with liberty and justice for all. Tyranny, oppression, injustice, and slavery were not options for consideration for those who like Patrick Henry, had accepted the call of liberty.

History is strewn with those who argue for peace, moderation, conciliation, negotiation, concession, and delay when faced with decisions of life and death.  A few like England’s Chamberlain, are remembered, but most are forgotten for good reason.  I believe they were well-meaning, but simply had no strength of purpose with which to summon the character and resolve necessary to stand against a foe of evil.  Many who are blinded to the Truth will flap, stir, and raise a great cloud of dust and noise against God’s authority, rule, and righteousness.  They will deny and seek to expunge His sovereign influence over America’s establishment, as well as the Godly purposes in which it has been a beacon of light in a world of darkness.

The value and virtue of liberty and justice for all is undiminished today, but liars in the secular humanist media are seeking to throw it down, trample upon it, and destroy America as it was established.  When and if, the tipping point is reached and the day of decision arrives may there be brave, Godly, men and women in positions of leadership who will place only the highest value on human lives, rather than the worthless waste of lives through abortion, ignored urban criminal murder, sanctioned supported drug addiction, increasing suicide, and all the evil that tyranny and Humanism brings.
