No cliché is more consistent and confirming of our weakness than failed New Years resolutions.  Rather than hope for a trim waist, less bad habits, or more healthy behavior, I encourage you to simply accept the truth that is your’s in Yeshua Messiah, (Jesus Christ in Hebrew).  No resolutions are necessary, these truths are all resolved, but I can say, as you accept truth it will       bear fruit in your life, manifesting peace and joy as promised by God.  There are too many to list them all.

“Take delight in the Lord, and he will give you the desires of your heart.  Commit your way to the Lord; trust in him and he will do this: He will make your righteous reward shine like the dawn, your vindication like the noonday sun.

Be still before the Lord and wait patiently for him; for those who hope in the Lord will inherit the land.

The meek will inherit the land and enjoy peace and prosperity.  Better the little that the righteous have than the wealth of many wicked.

The blameless spend their days under the Lord’s care, and their inheritance will endure forever.  In times of disaster they will not wither; in days of famine they will enjoy plenty.

The Lord makes firm the steps of the one who delights in him; though he may stumble, he will not fall, for the Lord upholds him with his hand.  I was young and now I am old, yet I have never seen the righteous forsaken or their children begging bread.  They are always generous and lend freely; their children will be a blessing.

For the Lord loves the just and will not forsake his faithful ones.  The righteous will inherit the land and dwell in it forever.  The mouths of the righteous utter wisdom, and their tongues speak what is just.  The law of their God is in their hearts; their feet do not slip.

Consider the blameless, observe the upright; a future awaits those who seek peace. 

The salvation of the righteous comes from the Lord; he is their stronghold in time of trouble.  The Lord helps them and delivers; he will deliver them from the wicked and saves them, because they take refuge in him.” (Ps 37).

Believer, all this is your’s, and more besides, take joy in the God of your salvation, rejoice and cry out with great shouts of triumph to your deliverer.  Release praises and worship, delight in the Lord God Almighty!  God revealed himself to you, calling you His child.  He has made you righteous by the sacrifice of the Lamb, Yeshua.  He is saving you, guarding your steps, directing your paths.  Holy Spirit love and power reside in your innermost being.  Nothing can separate you from God’s love or snatch you from Yeshua’s embrace.  Your treasure in heaven is secure, your destiny in Yeshua sound and firm in the Rock of Ages.  I feel better, just speaking this truth.
