Your Marked Seal

Every product has a trademark, brand, or seal certifying the nature of its contents. So too are people, first by God with respect to His Children. “And you also were included in Christ when you heard the message of truth, the gospel of your salvation. When you believed, you were marked in him with a seal, the promised Holy Spirit, who is a deposit guaranteeing our inheritance until the redemption of those who are God’s possession—to the praise of his glory.” (Ephesians 1:13-14) The enemy will one day mark those who belong to him with his own mark. “The second beast was given power to give breath to the image of the first beast, so that the image could speak and cause all who refused to worship the image to be killed. It also forced all people, great and small, rich and poor, free and slave, to receive a mark on their right hands or on their foreheads, so that they could not buy or sell unless they had the mark, which is the name of the beast or the number of its name.” (Revelation 13:15-17)

The mark of God is a Spiritual seal that represents the indwelling Holy Spirit, a very real influence for good, love and righteousness over the believing Child of God. The mark of the beast is physical in natural as a means of identifying those who were deluded into worshiping the enemy and his beastly image. (Rev. 16.2; 19:20) The enemy can not create anything, but twists, warps and contaminates what God creates; of love, he tempts with lust; of devotion, he captures into bondage; of peace and joy, he brings drunkenness, stupification, delirium, addiction, and so on.

Its not a battle of two equals, good and evil, God is Sovereign over all and will put an endto His enemy’s. “A third angel followed them and said in a loud voice: ‘If anyone worships the beast and its image and receives its mark on their forehead or on their hand, they, too, will drink the wine of God’s fury, which has been poured full strength into the cup of his wrath. They will be tormented with burning sulfur in the presence of the holy angels and of the Lamb. And the smoke of their torment will rise for ever and ever. There will be no rest day or night for those who worship the beast and its image, or for anyone who receives the mark of its name.’ ” (Revelation 14:9-11) This is a depiction of Hell, where the wrath of God is poured out against all evil. If you have accepted Yeshua (Jesus’ Hebrew name) as your Lord and Savior you need not fear, but otherwise seek God while He may be found. A fear of Hell is a reasonable motivation to turn and seek God’s mercy. Each one of us knows that we have done bad things, it’s called sin. God offers mercy and forgiveness through belief in Yeshua Messiah alone. God is real, so also, Heaven and Hell. I implore you to cry out to Him, if you do so in earnest, He will respond. “Those whom I love I rebuke and discipline. So be earnest and repent. Here I am! I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears my voice and opens the door, I will come in and eat with that person, and they with me. To the one who is victorious, I will give the right to sit with me on my throne, just as I was victorious and sat down with my Father on his throne.” (Revelation 3:19-21)
