The following is an interview with the Editor with questions posed by Steve 2525.

Question 1 – American Society has changed drastically and significantly since 2015. During the Trump administration the Media and Democrats in Congress, FBI, DOJ, NSA and Establishment Republicans began a war upon Conservatives and Donald Trump as their representative. Since then the Supreme Court legalized same sex marriages and refused to address potential election fraud related to the Biden administration. Covid-19 arrived and immediately became politicized as a tool to divide an already divided nation. All major media is militantly Democrat/Socialists. Assuming a conservative congress and President are elected how could unity be restored and/or the disastrous effects to our Economy, Institutions and Society be altered?

Answer 1 – First by setting an example of following the Rule of Law. Do not use executive actions to implement a law that is the function of the Congress. For example, issue no mandates that are not passed into law by Congress. Follow the Constitution and do not usurp any authority that is clearly a State prerogative. Second, by limiting the Deep State functionaries within the government bureaucracy. Replace heads of government agencies with persons who will insist that the rules be followed and will remove their subordinates who only want to apply the rules to favor their political party. I do not believe we have hope unless we can remove the many, mostly liberal, bureaucrats. By all means select an Attorney General that will apply the rule of law without political favor. Third, in regard to economic questions push Congress to pass a law that the government cannot print more money than the percentage growth in the economy which will limit inflation and thus remove an unauthorized tax on all of us with the poor being particularly affected.

Above all, press for laws that bring us back to a more moral standing before God. Start with removing any rights related to the insane practice of saying, contrary to clear science, that one can think they are the opposite sex and then they are then treated as such. Do not let boys compete against girls or enter girls bathrooms. I am not sure we can come back from the cliff if our country pursues supporting these kind of immoral practices. Of course, push for the elimination of abortion or at least for anything after the first few weeks of pregnancy if this is all that can be accomplished at first. This will be a good start. However, the only true resource for positive change for our country is to repent of our individual and national sins and turn to God who is the only entity that can provide a change of moral heart and prosperity for our country.    

Question 2 – Reading some left wing journalists leaves the impression that the enemy of America is the people who voted for and elected Donald Trump. Of course the two party’s have become bitter enemies with the establishment Republicans joining against Conservatives. Now that the Democrats control congress and the Presidency Major media has become silent other than to carry Biden’s messages, which is vaccine mandate, federal voter bill, massive spending bills and open border policy. Are these merely a setup for other assaults against Conservatives, such as gun control, further restriction of religious freedom, state rights, and parental rights? Governing against the will of the people began with Obama – is this what we see today and where does it lead?

Answer 2 – Yes, all of those are aimed at Trump voters and in particular the moral conservatives who, I believe, worry the Liberals most. In the end, Liberals want to be their own God and have permission to act on any perversion that comes into their mind. At the same time Liberals have a natural desire to have something to worship and the Federal Government provides a secular God for them. This is especially true if they can take politically correct positions and thereby be counted in the favored class with permission to crush those that are not.

Though being a Christian Conservative myself I am at peace with what is happening in the country because I know God is in control. The Liberal’s wickedness is their own worst enemy. The Senate is trying to remove the Filibuster now to vote in a law to make it easier to cheat on elections. When they did this with judges the Republicans were able to use  the lack of a filibuster to get in some quasi conservative judges which could not have gotten thru otherwise. What wicked man means for evil God can turn to good. Genesis 50:20

Is this Liberal wickedness governing against the will of the people? I do not know. It seems about 50 percent of the people are on each side. It is a spiritual battle and we need to fight for our country with weapons of the Spirit – prayer, fasting, etc. Therefore the will of the people is relatively unimportant – only the will of God is important and only He can change things for the better.

Where does it all lead? To Hell with the unrepentant Wicked and to Heaven with the Redeemed. That is all that really matters. Let us love our enemies, do good to those that hate us, bless those that curse us and pray for those who abuse us and our reward will be great (Luke 6:27-28, 35) and perhaps some lost can be brought into the Kingdom along the way.

Question 3 – Scripture says, “Therefore, get rid of all moral filth and the evil that is so prevalent and humbly accept the word planted in you, which can save you…Religion that God our Father accepts as pure and faultless is this: to look after orphans and widows in their distress and to keep oneself from being polluted by the world.” James 1:21, 27 There is no hope for the wicked, “Many will be purified, made spotless and refined, but the wicked will continue to be wicked. None of the wicked will understand, but those who are wise will understand.” Daniel 12:10  If our Government promotes evil, insanity, wickedness how can we proceed?  “In the paths of the wicked are snares and pitfalls, but those who would preserve their life stay far from them.” Proverbs 22:5  I know we must trust God who says, “Let those who love the Lord hate evil, for he guards the lives of his faithful ones and delivers them from the hand of the wicked.” Psalms 97:10  Amos 5 talks about living in wicked times.  We are not to be close friends with evil people, if the Government will not restrain wickedness what are we to do?

Answer 3 – Pray and trust to God primarily as you mention. I think we must also be outspoken against the wickedness of the people and the government, even if we are persecuted ourselves or cancelled for it. That way some may be convicted of their wickedness and repent. My wife often reminds me that God may be letting this wickedness go on to store up wrath for the day of judgement. “Or do you presume on the riches of his kindness and forbearance and patience, not knowing that God’s kindness is meant to lead you to repentance? But because of your hard and impenitent heart you are storing up wrath for yourself on the day of wrath when God’s righteous judgment will be revealed.” Romans 2:4-5 In any event, we have no authority from our Lord to formally rebel in any way. We must follow the laws and rules as long as it does not cause us to do something immoral that is against God’s laws. In the meantime we can be comforted by John 16:33 that God has already overcome this wicked world.
