“This is what the Lord says: “Cursed is the one who trusts in man, who draws strength from mere flesh and whose heart turns away from the Lord.” (Jeremiah 17:5) The church has placated the lost; acquiescing to their accusations the Bible is irrelevant today; kept silent about the certainty of Hell fire, lest they take offense; provided coffee, entertainment, and light shows instead of God’s Truth with Spirit empowered unction, (earnest passion and fervor). Believers have been warehoused in pews to feed ego of glib tongued orators. Where are the prayer warriors with faith like Elijah? A horde of Humanists have influenced the church that should be influencing the world. These empty-of-Spirit leaders dreamed up “seeker services”; getting atheists to evaluate the worship service; taking the offense out of God’s Word, and worst of all failed to nurture and trust the Holy Spirit within each Believer by mentoring prevailing Spirit-filled prayer, Gifts of the Spirit, and bold witnessing, instead of intellectualism, and programs of men. Is it any wonder why Revival tarries and American Society cast off all restraint embracing public lasciviousness, delusion, unrestrained debauchery and demonic influence. We are shocked at such behavior, but the groundwork for this was laid with our approval or inaction. It would have been one thing to clearly object and emphatically protest, but mere silence with no condemnation was reasonably viewed as acquiescence by the world. They can’t stand against God’s word, so they’re pleased with our accommodating silence.

Enough on the cause, what is the cure? First and foremost, there is no political solution. Do not be deceived, bad company corrupts good character. (1 Cor. 15:3) “if my people, who are called by my name, will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and I will forgive their sin and will heal their land.” (2 Chronicles 7:14) What is required is for the congregation of Believers to return to God with humility and prayer. This is independent of the lost and our corrupt society. When God’s people submit to the rule of the Holy Spirit, fire from heaven will cleanse and purge sin from the camp, the Congregation of Believers. We can no longer be friends with the World. “You adulterous people, don’t you know that friendship with the world means enmity against God? Therefore, anyone who chooses to be a friend of the world becomes an enemy of God.” (James 4:4) “What agreement is there between the temple of God and idols? For we are the temple of the living God. As God has said: “I will live with them and walk among them, and I will be their God, and they will be my people.” Therefore, “Come out from them and be separate, says the Lord. Touch no unclean thing, and I will receive you.” (2 Corinthians 6:16-17) Be sure of this, the Lord will not abandon His people, but unless we repent He will discipline us with hardship and suffering. (Jeremiah 17:1-4) The Message of God is love and forgiveness in Yeshua, Messiah – Good News, including a very urgent and sincere warning of wrath coming upon all who reject Him and His Lordship over all creation.
