God’s Mercy

God makes himself clear and understood, then He looks for faith from us. He does not give second chances when there is no faith, but He does strengthen weak faith. (Mark 9:24) However, He does not forget His promises and He leaves a remnant and delivers the outcast. He knows the weakness in mankind and He remains true to Himself, even when we are not. (2 Tim 2:13)

Nothing is impossible with God and He remains just, loving and true. “For if God did not spare angels when they sinned, but sent them to hell, putting them in chains of darkness to be held for judgment; if he did not spare the ancient world when he brought the flood on its ungodly people, but protected Noah, a preacher of righteousness, and seven others; if he condemned the cities of Sodom and Gomorrah by burning them to ashes, and made them an example of what is going to happen to the ungodly; and if he rescued Lot, a righteous man, who was distressed by the depraved conduct of the lawless (for that righteous man, living among them day after day, was tormented in his righteous soul by the lawless deeds he saw and heard)— if this is so, then the Lord knows how to rescue the godly from trials and to hold the unrighteous for punishment on the day of judgment.” (2 Peter 2:4-9)

Do you know the God of the Bible? Famous people of the world presume to speak for Him and define Him in their own image with their values. Beware, God speaks for Himself to each person’s innermost being, but He is confirmed in His Word, the Bible, and through His Holy Spirit, which is always consistent with His word. Worldly people speak as snares of the enemy, seeking to deceive even Believers if it was possible. (Mark 13:22) Atheists and others accuse God of inaction and claim it as proof He does not exists. “What if God, although choosing to show his wrath and make his power known, bore with great patience the objects of his wrath—prepared for destruction? What if he did this to make the riches of his glory known to the objects of his mercy, whom he prepared in advance for glory— even us, whom he also called, not only from the Jews but also from the Gentiles?” (Romans 9:22-24) God is merciful, but it is important to understand to whom His mercy is shown, how, and why. Those who follow Yeshua will find the answers.
