Martyrs Today

The Iranian Congregation of Believers are a marvelous testimony of God’s sovereignty and love. The report’s indicate that initial faith came to many through visions and other supernatural means. How perfect and loving is the God of the Bible. He is not restrained by a lack of evangelists. Just as He sent Jonah to Nineveh to deliver His message that brought repentance, He can today  bring forth Believers from imprisoned oppressed Persians. Who will question Him or accuse Him of violating man’s, so called, freewill? He saves everyone that is predestined to glory. “For those God foreknew he also predestined to be conformed to the image of his Son, that he might be the firstborn among many brothers and sisters. And those he predestined, he also called; those he called, he also justified; those he justified, he also glorified… Who will bring any charge against those whom God has chosen? It is God who justifies. Who then is the one who condemns? No one. Christ Jesus who died—more than that, who was raised to life—is at the right hand of God and is also interceding for us. Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? Shall trouble or hardship or persecution or famine or nakedness or danger or sword?” (Romans 8:29-30, 33-35)

All round the world the Kingdom of God is advancing. (Matt. 11:12) He can not be stopped or resisted. He is love and it is an infinite power, no weapon of evil, deception or hatred can stand against the will and loving purposes of God. Yeshua, Messiah has conquered the enemy, and judgement has been given to Him. He knows His own and calls each one by name. The wicked secular media can only lie and try to obscure the truth, but just as light dispels the darkness, so too the truth pierces regimes of oppression and tyranny. 

In Nigeria, Believers are being threatened, persecuted and martyred by the same evil that suppresses Iran. Many of these faithful Nigerian saints have been killed for their faith, while corrupt leaders stand by idle. The secular media seems to only report that nothing can be done. Believer’s do not live for a temporary home in this world, but a permanent one in Heaven. God is Supreme over every life and death. The Nigerian martyrs stand in glory with their fellow Persian martyrs. We will all die, but every Believer will rise to eternal glorious life in the presence of their Lord and Savior, Yeshua Messiah. God is not mocked wicked liars and murders will receive exactly what the deserve – wrath. (Gal. 6:7-8)
