Faith With Effect

jesus-robe.jpgShe had been sick for twelve years, but she believed that touching Yeshua’s garment would bring healing.  “Jesus turned and saw her. ‘Take heart, daughter,’ he said, ‘your faith has healed you.’  And the woman was healed at that moment.” (Matt. 9: 20-22).  A woman in that town who lived a sinful life learned that Jesus was eating at the Pharisee’s house, so she came there.  As she stood behind him at his feet weeping, she began to wet his feet with her tears.  Then she wiped them with her hair, kissed them and poured perfume on them.  “Jesus said to the woman, ‘Your faith has saved you; go in peace.’ ” (Luke 7: 37-50).

“Two blind men followed Jesus and cried out, ‘Have mercy on us, Son of David!’  He asked them if they believed that He was able to do it and they replied, ‘Yes.’  Then he touched their eyes and said, ‘According to your faith let it be done to you.’ ” (Matt. 9: 27-29).  “Traveling to Jerusalem, Yeshua met

ten men who had leprosy.  They cried out, ‘Jesus, Master, have pity on us.’  When he saw them, he said, ‘Go, show yourselves to the priests.’  And as they went, they were cleansed.  One returned to give thanks.  Then He said to him, ‘Rise and go; your faith has made you well.’ ” (Luke 17: 11-19).

“For I say, through the grace given unto me, to every man that is among you, not to think of himself more highly than he ought to think; but to think soberly, according as God hath dealt to every man the measure of faith.” (Romans 12: 3, KJV).  We have different measures of faith.  By application Paul explains, “One person’s faith allows them to eat anything, but another, whose faith is weak, eats only vegetables… One person considers one day more sacred than another; another considers every day alike.  Each of them should be fully convinced in their own mind.” (Rom. 14: 2, 5).  So, even though we have different measures of faith and we are bound to respect, love, and refrain from judging each other.  Who are you to judge someone else’s servant?  To their own master, servants stand or fall.  And they will stand, for the Lord is able to make them stand.

Nevertheless, the Kingdom of God is not about food and holidays, it is about righteousness, peace, and joy in the Holy Spirit.  My encouragement to you is to believe that Yeshua will give you that which you earnestly desire.  He will grant your request based in faith that He is all-powerful and rich in love and mercy.  Yeshua has no limit or barrier to what He is able to accomplish, faith only is the necessary element.  Lay your burden of sickness, oppression, blindness, disease, sinful ways and habits, before Him and cry out for His mercy.  Simply believe on Him and hear His words to you, “According to your faith, let it be done to you.”
