Scientists postulate ten conceivable dimensions: 1) width, 2) length, 3) depth, 4) time, 5) another world somewhat different from our own, 6) a matrix of other worlds each different in relationship to that of our own, 7) a matrix of worlds incomparably different from our own from the beginning, 8) a matrix of different worlds each branching out to infinity, 9) all matrices of worlds are comparable with respect to each of its differing laws and origins, and 10) the point in which everything possible and imaginable is covered. Beyond this, nothing can be imagined by us lowly mortals, which makes it the natural limitation of what we can conceive in terms of dimensions. You can see a lot of science fiction fodder in the 6th and 7th dimensions. The Big Bang gives us dimensions with a beginning and the 10th is a recognition of human limitation.

As a Believer this does not upset me or present any conflict with the Bible. In fact, it validates the creation, the existence of both heaven and hell, and the finite limited capacity of humans. Moreover, the tenth dimension is a tacit acceptance of an infinite, omni powerful, omnipresent incomparable inconceivable Creator God. What more we know of God comes from the Bible, but Creation evidences His existence and supremacy. (Rom. 1:20) 

So I ask myself what the nature of all creation in ten dimensions is about and one overriding activity remains – Worship of God. It was God who said, He seeks worshippers that worship in Spirit and Truth. (John 4:23) Therefore, though worship may not be the singular, most common, average, or most unique activity in the universe, it is the one attracting God’s particular attention. What does it mean to worship in Spirit and Truth?

The Spirit is the Holy Spirit person of the triune God, which indwells every Believer. Truth is the opposite of a falshood and reality which has no fictional or merely notional framework. As noted above, access to God is dimensionally impossible, therefore, God’s own personality of Spirit alone enables actual worship. Such worship must be combined with the purity of reality found in truth. For example, one cannot worship animals, idols, or anything finite and presume truthful worship of God. 

This conclusion is well supported in scripture that Man’s highest and first duty is to worship (love) God. When asked what was the greatest commandment, “Jesus replied: “‘Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind.'” (Matthew 22:37)  One great lie is that we are independent of God and masters of our own fate within the universe. Looking at ten conceivable dimensions dispels that myth and may remind us of God’s invisible qualities—his eternal power and divine nature—being understood from what has been made. In light of this we worship God and join the multitudes in heaven and earth who are doing the same.
