When we come before the Judgment seat of Messiah, we will be naked, empty handed and an accounting will be required. The books will be opened and every careless word and selfish motive, every denial of knowing Yeshua, every evil act clear and plain for all to see. Our only hope will be in knowing the Judge and Him knowing us. Therefore, our sins will be covered and expunged from the record, by the blood and grace of the Savior. We have a Holy Spirit, inheritance mark and guarantee, such that everything done in and by the Spirit (to His credit and glory) will also be made clear. The work of the Kingdom will be disclosed which was hidden. A cup of water given to a thirsty child, time in Yeshua’s company, clinging to His Word in darkness and holding forth our small candle against the wind as we lost our life and denied ourselves in surrender to Him.

Wesley expressed surrender in his prayer

I am no longer my own, but yours.

Put me to what you will, place me with whom you will. 

Put me to doing, put me to suffering.

Let me be put to work for you or set aside for you, Praised for you or criticized for you.

Let me be full, let me be empty.

Let me have all things, let me have nothing.

I freely and fully surrender all things

To your glory and service.

And now, O wonderful and holy God, Creator, Redeemer, and Sustainer,

You are mine, and I am yours.

So be it.
