When I go hiking, it inevitably clears my mind. Being amidst God’s unaltered creation gives an awareness of being part of His creation and recognizing His nature. Scripture explains, “For since the creation of the world God’s invisible qualities—his eternal power and divine nature—have been clearly seen, being understood from what has been made, so that people are without excuse.”(Romans 1:20) This spiritual awareness is met by people from three groups: First, Believers who embrace the truth with acceptance of God’s preeminent Lordship, Second, those who are still seeking Him in various degrees and ways, and Third, those who reject Him, obscure the truth, and carryout the work of their father, the devil. (John 8:44; Rom. 1:24)
Other than Creations testimony of God, the Word of God has gone out into the world calling everyone to the truth. This is accomplished through word of mouth, Holy Spirit revelation and written scriptures. All three can operate in Believers who have courage to share the gospel, accept Holy Spirit empowered gifts, and incorporate the written word into their heart. The Word of God is supernatural having God’s power of salvation, beyond mere information and fact. (Rom. 1:16) God and the Spirit are invisible; Yeshua has returned to Heaven. Many things are invisible, but we still understand and acknowledge them; gravity, light, air, love, thoughts, etc. Scripture explains, “…these are the things God has revealed to us by his Spirit. The Spirit searches all things, even the deep things of God. For who knows a person’s thoughts except their own spirit within them? In the same way no one knows the thoughts of God except the Spirit of God….for, “Who has known the mind of the Lord so as to instruct him?” But we have the mind of Christ.” (1 Corinthians 2:10-11,16)
How can we have the mind of Christ? Through the Spirit, Yeshua’s thoughts, attitudes and intentions are available to every Believer, through the indwelling Holy Spirit. (Rom. 15:5, 12:2; Phil. 4:7, 2:5) Just as our thoughts are recorded by God, (1 Cor. 4:5; Ps. 139:2-4), Yeshua’s thoughts are recorded and available to us. A renewed mind is one set right with Yeshua, the Word of God. Every Believer has Spiritual ability to acquire the mind of Yeshua, it requires faith and may take prayer, self-sacrifice and time, but the promise is for you. Then you will have unlocked a well-spring of God’s blessing, for “he does not treat us as our sins deserve or repay us according to our iniquities.”(Psalms 103:10) Are you open to receive the good things God has for you? Ask and you will receive.
